I was hoping the Cheatriots would have something for the Rams tonight.
Guess that ain't gonna happen.

I'm wondering if teams nipping at the Pack's heels might not be more advantageous in this strange season. Normally, we'd root against the Rams simply for purposes of playoff scenarios. I think it might help GB to possibly stay on point and focused the next four weeks, if for nothing more than keeping a better record than the couple of teams right behind them. If they want a shot at HFA, they really can't afford a dumb loss down the stretch.

Some of the worst mechanics I've ever seen in a qb. Especially one who's gone to a SB. Didn't he win MVP too? He looks like he's aiming a javelin. Just awful.

In 2015, he threw for 35 TDs and 10 interceptions while running for another 10 TDs. He had a great TE (Greg Olson), but his best WRs were Devin Funchess and Ted Ginn Jr.

I think the foot injury messed up his mechanics, which weren't that great to begin with.

Lamar Jackson has Cam Newton, Part 2 written all over him. Just like Randall Cunningham 30 years ago. When running QBs lose it, they often  lose it fast (unless they get Randy Moss to throw to later in their careers).

Or Terrell Owens. Tubby wanted to separate himself from the term of running qb. He had a handful of really good years orchestrated by Andy Reid. And though that Philly team was falling apart, Mcnabb didn't fare too well once he left the Eagles. He was most likely correct inadvertantly, in that mobile qbs can't maintain that mobility for the duration, and we will see the same with Jackson, Watson, Mahomes just like we've seen with our own guy. Newton has always had horrific mechanics and apparently always will. It's just that as he gets older those flaws become more glaring.

doesnt take much of a crystal ball to see that

Of course, the Chicago Bears extensively scouted him and decided that Mitch Trubisky was much better.

Mahomes is the only QB I've ever watched and thought that he was better than peak Aaron Rodgers. He was going to be great no matter where he went, but Andy Reid laid the foundation for him to be the GOAT if he stays healthy. It's a shame that Reid didn't take over for Holmgren to continue to develop Favre.
