I really hope this was said jokingly, but that would probably be implied in the article. I've seen more head scratching calls in these first 5 games then any full season I remember, but that's not anything you want to read from one of your players, named or otherwise.

Let us fans put on the foil hats and worry about the "yeah, buts" while the players take care of the only thing they can control.

Finley, maybe?

That line is the last in an article from Lori Nickel...

Re: last line in story, I’m guessing he was partially joking, but main msg is team is still frustrated w/calls, questioning them
There have been a couple of big questionable calls that everyone has seen. There have been plenty of non calls as well. These are the ones the players see. The quote is from some one on defense most likely a DB
I don't buy into the conspiracy theory. But just for giggles. IF their was something in play, I would think the refs would be giving GB EVERY favorable call imaginable.

The real refs are back with a nice raise and bump in the number of years the pension was extended (the offer was 2 years pre-Seattle, 5 years the morning after) becasue GB took one up the @ss from the replacements.

The refs are back and getting paid becasue of what happened to GB. How can the refs not throw us a freakin' bone once in a while?

Like I said though, I'm not buying into the conspiracy.

Play better on Sunday's. Stop talking about the refs. Everyone gets jobbed.

ps. None of this changes my belief Goodell needs to go away. He's done enough damage to the NFL.

Couldn't really fault Sam Shields if he felt that way.

Great point. I would bet money it was Finley...but then again that dumdum wouldn't be bright enough to request the comment be "off the record".

They might not want to look like they're being biased towards Green Bay so as not to look like they're making up for that Seattle call.
