As the draft finishes up today, it got me thinking to which Packer player from last year needs to be gone.  This will be tough as there are unfortunately too many to choose from.  I'll go with someone I saw at training camp that looked like he was wearing cement shoes playing OLB in pash-rushing drills - Kyler Fackrell.  I can't believe he played in 28% of the snaps last year - that is disgusting.  In week 12 vs the Steelers, he played 46 snaps and amassed a whopping 2 tackles...he needs to be some other team's problem.

The site below is pretty cool.

WR binge this year and last may be setting that group up for runs with Rodgers as he winds down his career over the next 5-7 years.

And, there is enough WR talent now for a run this season if Rodgers is healthy, the running game build's on 2017, and Pettine's D comes to play.

What is intriguing about this year's group of drafted WR's is the size-speed combos. We've been yelling for about needing speed guys -- or at least ONE speed guy -- who can learn the playbook, catch the ball, and beat press coverage and take the top off of defenses independent of scheming them open. For years Jordy was the only real deep threat which had more to do with smarts and great route running (although the pre-knee injury 87 was a classic example of a player whose game speed was much better than a 40 time would suggest).

I want to see the kids run in pads and in game situations first... but it looks as if we've got more than a handful of burners now who weren't on the roster last year.
