Win or God forbid Packers lose we will be talking about Tom Brady for at least the week coming up.

Could WR Equanimeous St. Brown and LB Kamal Martin play this week – their first opportunity to come off IR? Coach Matt LaFleur said he plans to "give them work each day and see how their bodies respond." Both went on IR with... https://t.co/cOCETwSt4n pic.twitter.com/7H88pmzr7D

Per Ben Fennell and other 22 film junkies, defenses simply play the Packers differently when 17 is on the field. Gives a lot more opportunities to guys like MVS, Bobby T, Jamal and Aaron etc.
We'll hear from Davante Adams later today for the first time since he expressed unhappiness with being held out vs ATL in Week 4, but coach Matt LaFleur said today that he loves Adams' approach. "I know ‘Tae' has done everything in his power, just like he did two weeks ago before we played Atlanta. He's always doing whatever he can to get out on the field ... He's a great player, and I love the way he approaches everything."
Apparently, Bruce doesn't count drops like MLF would:
Full quote from Bruce Arians on Bucs leading the league in dropped passes: "I don't know who the hell makes up these stats. I don't see us dropping the ball that much. We had a game where we did, but I don't put any stock in it. Our guys can catch and we don't say shit about it."

Biggest injury news from Bucs practice is corner Carlton Davis working on the side with a trainer with an undetermined injury. Chris Godwin just stretching. Leonard Fournette, LeSean McCoy have their helmets with them today.
— Greg Auman (@gregauman) October 14, 2020
If Davis couldn’t go Sunday — still a big if — it’s another key loss for Bucs defense. I’d think they have Dean and Murphy-Bunting outside, Winfield at nickel, Edwards at safety. Again, wait and see on Davis first.

CB Carlton Davis came down awkwardly vs bears and I saw him gimping off the field late in the 4th quarter. Looked like a hyper-extended knee.
Play... don't play....Suit up & let's snap the ball.
Looking forward to the game. Should be the best test of the season for the Pack!
Bucs injury update: Carlton Davis still working with trainers on the side. I did not see rookie DL Khalil Davis. Whitehead watching in a ballcap.

Evans, David, Gronkowski, Fournette, Godwin, McCoy, Miller, Watson all look fine.
So Bucs have two key DBs with question marks now in corner Carlton Davis (abdomen) and safety Jordan Whitehead (knee). Missing both would mean having to use someone in nickel who has barely played on defense at all, like Andrew Adams, Ryan Smith or Ross Cockrell.

Looks like The Bucs secondary could be hurting down 2 starters. Vita Vea is done for the year.
Kevin King sounds like he's unlikely to play.
If I am a betting man, I am betting the over in this one.

Opened at 52 & now it's 55 -- Quite the jump with 90% of the money on the OVER.
I like the under, especially in the first half as both teams feel each other out

It started the week at 52 and jumped up to 55 today. Las Vegas must be reading your posts Packerboi
EDIT : with that derby hat, Bruce Arians looks more like a pastry chef than a head coach
For those who are thinking "Preston sucks this year", think again. He's playing the role of Kyler Fackrell in 2020. Lots and lots of dropping in coverage and not a lot of pass rusher opportunities. Sounds like that will be Rashan Gary's role along with Z. Preston is being asked to do something totally different vs last season
Preston Smith says there's no frustration with his lacking pass-rush production this season, knows it's a byproduct of different role in #Packers defense, dropping back more in coverage: "I believe in the plan. I believe in the system."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) October 15, 2020
And people are saying King is one of the players the Packers should be paying?
Preston Smith has been close in the last 2 games.
Like I said earlier....these first 4 games were the "pre-season" Preston is in game shape now. ABM is holding his cards close to the vest with Preston & yes he has been dropping into coverage more too. Preston Smith I'm not worried about.
Josh Jackson OTOH.....

Have you watched any football the last two years?
WRs Scotty Miller, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, CB Carlton Davis, S Jordan Whiteheard, RB Leonard Fournette and DL Kahlil Davis are all game time decisions. Godwin looks the most promising.

#GoBucs coach Bruce Arians says Carlton Davis (abdomen) moved around pretty good and was sore but is a very critical piece to the defense because he shadows the top receiver.

No risk it, no biscuit!
Aaron Rodgers smiled when breaking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defense, particularly the secondary.
“They're a little younger on the back end. I believe one of those guys, I might've played against his dad at one point, which is interesting,” the Packers’ quarterback said. “I remember that name from the battles that we had.”
He was referencing Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and his father.
Winfield Jr. is a 22-year-old rookie out of the University of Minnesota who has two sacks and a forced fumble. He’s a 5-foot, 9-inch, 203-pound safety who can run a 4.46-second 40-yard dash.
His father, Antoine Winfield Sr., was a 5-9, 189-pound corner who ran a 4.41-second 40 and played 14 years in the NFL, including nine in Minnesota. He faced Rodgers and the Packers eight times. Winfield Sr. had an interception off Rodgers, too, in a 30-23 Vikings’ victory on Oct. 5, 2009. Winfield Sr. also had 10 tackles and a pass breakup that day.
“A ton of respect for his dad, what a great, great player, one of the toughest guys I've played against, so it'll be fun to go against (Winfield Jr.),” Rodgers said. “I think that might be a first for me, a good reminder that in this league, the years get on you pretty fast.”
Winfield Sr was one of the best cover corners of his era. He was also one of the first of what would become many dominant corners to come out of Ohio $tate. Junior isn’t as fast but I think he’s a better playmaker and more physical. He’s on his way to becoming really good.
This is good...
A good for the Packers' D: CB Kevin King (quad) practiced for the first time this week. Also, DT Montravius Adams (neck) returned. Only DNP was RB/KR Tyler Ervin (wrist). https://t.co/1dKg6ynydZ pic.twitter.com/YdS4XfCENs
— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) October 16, 2020
#Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that WR Tyler Ervin (wrist) is out this week and either Josh Jackson or Darrius Shepherd are likely to handle returns. WR Malik Taylor could be in the mix as well.
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) October 16, 2020
Please not Shepherd....
No, that's a human interest piece vs. "Ty Summers will be the next Ray Nitschke"

This, "Carlton Davis (abdomen) moved around pretty good and was sore", is going to be a challenge against possibly the leagues best WR off the LOS.
Tae may go for 15, 125, and 2.
Will be interesting to see if they run all that jet sweep motion without Ervin. If you do still run that, who is your motion guy? If you use MVS you’re removing some of the verticals threat. I think it’s an important role in the offense even though he hasn’t gotten a lot of touches yet.
I would either scrap that stuff for this week and run things we haven’t put on film yet or put Jones in that role, letting Williams and Dillon take majority of HB snaps. Jones there is a real threat which open things up even more for the HB.

What he's trying to say here is the ceiling is the roof.
ESB has been activated from IR!
Reminder: Equanimeous St. Brown has never played a regular season game with Matt LaFleur as head coach.
— Andy Herman (@AndyHermanNFL) October 15, 2020
This would also be a good time to point out that almost everyone on offense has performed better with Matt LaFleur as head coach...
Always have liked ESB and excited to see how MLF uses him.
He'll take Irvins role tomorrow.
Different player but it won't matter.

A terrific game and one of 12’s and MM’s best together.
and dang, I miss Randall and Jordy.......😢
I was in Cancun when this game was on live.... One of the best Sundays I've ever spent in Cancun. I was really jacked up for this game. Sun Fun the beach lots of alcohol and of course a packer victory.
