STFU and take your iPhone, your bottle and your weed and head out to the parking lot like your other Union buddies ...
I'm skeered of Webb.
Dan Wiederer β@StribDW Have been told it is "looking more likely" Joe Webb will start tonight. Still no final word. But Vikings much closer to Plan B. Retweeted by chipscoggins

No ****. Much better runner much stronger arm. On the plus side, can't compete 20 percent of his passes.

Point spread moving accordingly. Was 7 this morning, 9.5 now.
I had Packers dominating Ponder throughout this game in the cold. With Webb possibly starting now, who knows.
I mean, it is Joe Webb. But I feel like the Packers weren't exactly expecting to play Joe Webb. Could make things pretty interesting..

Brint just boarded a private plane heading to GB. Can't believe this.
Webb has talent but he is extremely erratic.
Ponder is a pretty good athlete in his own right and while he may be mediocre at this point the guy with experience is still the better option.
This might work better for Minnesota anyway so they get the ball in Peterson's hands.
Still like GB in this one no matter what

Same thing ran through my mind
Who needs an elbow or accuracy when all you do is turn and give to AP? Either way, this game is crappy. We win and it's ho-hum, we're supposed to. We lose and we make the entire year for the Queens and we suffer for at least another year, just like when we lost to them so long ago -- and they still bring it up.
Bring on either one!
Bring on either one!
I agree Fandame
If the Vikings don't give AP 40 touches in this game they are idiots
Ponder did his job last week but the QB is truly a game manager in that offense

Its the playoffs and the team with the better QB will win. The Webb situation could only help us.
@AlbertBreer: Ponder will get to Lambeau early and get treatment. Expectation has been he'll start, be monitored throughout. We'll see if that changes
Is he sitting in a vikings box???

My thoughts exactly. Vegas isn't going to move the line unless they are pretty convinced that Ponder isn't playing.
Brett doesn't play outside in the cold, even for a flip. Deanna will get him all bundled up ala Randy from The Christmas Story.
I didn't think the odds-makers moved the line, they just set it? It moves then based on where the money is going. I though the only time the guys in the desert would move it is to force money elsewhere.
I think by this time, the line shifts to try to get half the betters on one side and half on the other (and hope like hell the outcome is not somewhere in between!).
H5 - Just means a whole lotta money has been placed on the Packers in the last couple of hours. For it to move it that much can only mean Ponder isn't going to play, or if he does he'll be very limited. It's up to 10 now. That's huge movement for any game, nevermind a playoff game.
In 1994, the NFLs premiere RB rushed for 1883 yards (5.7/att & 117.7/gm)... in the playoffs at Lambeau, he was held to -1 yards. Oh, he played for a dome team.
Webb is running because he wants to. Ponder runs when he has to. Both run it for about the same average per carry. I don't think it changes the D approach that much only that you want to contain Webb a little more and force him to throw it.
Webb hasn't attempted a pass this year.

Yup, remember that one. I don't remember that it was even as cold as it is supposed to be today.
RE: Ponder's status... I wonder if Vikes fans would be wetting the bed if Harrell was going to play?

Yup, Chilly picked him up at the airport.....
I bet he flips a two-faced coin.
@VikingsNow
Ponder already done throwing. Heading in with Sugarman. Didn't throw anything longer than 15 yards that I saw
(Eric) Sugarman is the Vikes Head Athletic Trainer.

That doesnt sound all that promising for Ponder.
Joe Webb hasnt thrown a pass in a game since 2011
Joe Webb hasnt thrown a pass in a game since 2011
All together now "But we would have won if Ponder played"
"If Capers can't Webb, he should be fired."
Paul Charchian β@PaulCharchian On KFAN they're saying that Ponder left warmups with the trainers
chipscoggins β@chipscoggins Musgrave and quarterbacks now working on pooch punts. Awesome.
