I agree. Crosby is a total head case right now. There must be someone better out there.
Crosby miss is bad all the way around, but MM and AR did him no favors with piss poor clock mgmt there. Essentially gave up any shot at a td, or a shorter fg. Don't put a struggling kicker in a situation to make a 50 yd when you already had a 40 yd opportunity.
That kick may have sealed the deal on Crosby. It's one thing to be adjusting your approach outdoors to adjust for wind, but indoors it's just kick your normal kick. He has totally lost whatever his normal kicking motion is....
The Packers are going to be forced to deal with the PK situation. Crosby would have been gone by now except for his contract. When a coach as conservative as MM is turning down FG attempts its screaming volumes.
