Bills failed to sign their franchise Safety to a long term deal earlier, so Byrd will play on a one year franchise special instead. Now he has all the leverage. That's not how you do it
The Packers on the other hand just re-signed their top safety to a long term deal a year before he busted on the scene and had all the leverage.
