Strahan made a good point during halftime...the DB going low is probably a byproduct of all the rule changes that discourage tackling high near the head.

Bad Luck...but come on...its gotta stop some time.

They've only lost Bulaga for the season so far, so it could be a lot worse. Let's hope for good news on Cobb, and then watch this team get healthy and make a run.

Probably right, Fond. It's just frustrating, because these guys have been playing the game since Pop Warner, and they've been taught to play the game one way. Now the NFL decides that football is a violent sport, so we have to change how the game is played. In doing so, you're just exposing players to more injuries because now they're being asked to ignore the instincts they've developed for years. 

 

The players already know it's a violent sport. They assume the risk. But what the NFL is doing is essentially telling a bunch of guys playing musical chairs "hey, guess what, we're taking away the chairs."
