I always preferred Beaver to Zac.
Beaver Brown?
Doubling down on catchers? I like it.
Payton? Another fail on the name game (though "Henry" is as catcher a name as I have ever heard)
Dammit, another Brown, and a shorty. The world don't need short people.
a 7th round loogy, with Dan Dallas and Austin Sodders (two perfectly good porn names) right there.
Finally a Fransico, I like this pick
Who the hell drafts second basemen?
It looks like the baseball draft is a lonely conversation
That is exactly what Bill Belichick said
Does Brown pound the zone?

Only 30 more rounds to go.
A lot of early accolades from the talking heads about the Brewers draft. They really liked the value of most all of our picks so far.... and it probably means absolutely nothing! haha.. but at least the nerds think we are doing it ok.
I need a quick reality check.
Someone talk me back from the notion that Junior Guerra and Chase Anderson may be more than marginal MLB back end of the rotation/career AAA level pitchers.
Thornburg falls one batter shy of an all-relief-appearance equivalent to a no hitter. Closes out the inning. Nicely done.
I'm not sure at this point that Guerra or Anderson are better than marginal starters on a good club.
For now, they are both exactly what they need - until some of the younger guys in the system are ready to go.
The concern to me at this point is the regression of Peralta and to a lesser extent Jungmann. Both guys were supposed to be part of the future rotation (especially Peralta) and maybe they both will recover but that's something to watch.
2-10 signed (and a bunch more). Ray will come soon (If we build it, he will come)
It took me days to assemble reports on all 41 #Brewers draftees, please humor me with your weekend clicks: https://t.co/f6slfQfeHQ

#Brewers have signed 11 players in @BaseballAmerica Top 200 from '16 Draft. Thus far, no other team has inked more than eight (STL, PHI).
