Lot of Twitter speculation that the Packers' opener will be at Minnesota, christening the bird strike stadium, on Sunday Night Football.

Green Bay winning the first game in Zygi's publicly funded **** hole located on Chicago Avenue would be a distant second to winning Championship 15 in Zygi's publicly funded **** hole  located on Chicago Avenue. 

Im going to enjoy both. **** the Vikings. 

I assume GB will get at Detoilet for Thanksgiving? I believe that's the rumor since we didn't have to play on Turkey day last year...

Speaking of...we gotta play a lot better at home and get our swag back. There were some real clunkers at home last year.

There all ready complaining about how many holding calls the Packers don't get called on them! 

I would bet good money on the Packers opening at Minnesota for the new stadium.  And even though they played on thanksgiving last year I would not be surprised to see them play in Detroit this year.

Yes.

How hard can they really rank your schedule if you play the Vikings, Bears and Lions each twice a season.

I do think the AFC South will be better this year. A healthier Indy (Luck), a better QB in Houston and Tennessee should get a whole lot of young talent, giving that division some life.

So they'll have a color rush game for Halloween weekend.  That seems appropriate.  Maybe they'll play CHI who will wear all orange uni's with black numbers that look carved out of a pumpkin.  Jay would approve.

@RobDemovsky: The Packers will play at Minnesota in Week 2. That's expected to be the opener for the Vikings at the new U.S. Bank Stadium. One other NFC North game to note: Packers will host the Bears on Oct. 20, a Thursday night.

@TomSilverstein: #Packers will finish season with #Vikings at home on Dec. 24 and at the #Lions on Jan. 1. Also, confirming #Packers at Vikes Week 2, 7:30 pm. Both of those #Packers games at the end of the year (#Vikings, at #Lions) are noon games.

@RobDemovsky: The Packers will open with 2 straight road games: at JAX, at MIN. Far as I can tell, first time since 1924 they've started with 2 on road.

@PackersNotes: Looks like home opener will be Lions in week 3.
