Leave it to Minnesotans to play their football indoors and to build an open air(no dome) baseball stadium where the temps are in the 40 degree range in early April. You'd think Bud Grant was managing the Twins. Also, their good sports teams, the past few years, have been the Gopher women's hockey and the Lynx women's basketball teams. You couldn't watch either of their championship games because they weren't on television! The State, that screams for attention, won't broadcast women's hockey and basketball championship games for all the world to admire.
Yup should be on state TV.
I watched the Lynx games on ESPN (or ESPN 2). Maybe I imagined it. And just as an FYI, Target Field was built without a roof due to the extra cost. I didn't realize women played hockey. 
A lot of us have played hockey for many years -- and kicked a number of men's butts while we were at it!

Local TV Schedule for MN folks looks like weeks 1, 3, 10, 15 and 17 need alternate sources. Seems dumb they didn't plan Week 1 better.
