DaVante Adams is Ed West with mittens.

Sounds like the 2010 board
deja vu all over again
Lotta season left.
I'd take Callahan, Janis and some sandlot ball.
Dr._Bob posted:Weren't we expecting the Packer offense to struggle against this defense?
Yes, but not in this fashion. Guys are getting open, Rodgers is either not seeing it or making poor throws.
Pass pro has been decent, yet he has happy feet.
Thanks OldHenrySchool.

Cobb in the backfield once or even twice a game is ok. But putting him back there 4-5 plays in a row is ridiculous. He's not large enough to really effectively pass block. And every time he runs into that pile with all those larger bodies, I get worried he's going to get hurt. That's the last thing this offense needs, losing our slot receiver. We have two perfectly capable running backs.
15 passes
8 runs.
That's not a balanced attack, especially when the passing game is so out of whack. McCarthy, you need to get it together. Start calling some screens. I don't know, maybe throw a pass to a tight end (remember those?) Do something. The status quo isn't working.

The Packers have 65 yards of their own and 66 by Vikings penalties.

Something out there scared me. Since that game what are his stats.

They're both playing hard to get, waiting for the other to make the first move.
McCarthy is the fat kid, and Capers the ugly, nerdy girl. They're standing on opposite sides of the gym, looking at each other, but nether is willing to make the move.
Being able to run the ball would help but that's been more ineffective than the passing game. The Vikings have the Packers petrified of throwing the ball underneath to the backs and TE's. The attempt to Cook was nearly a disaster. Adams put it on the ground. So the deep tosses are likely going to continue.

Defense is solid on the ground, but it's often pitch and catch when QBs get a few seconds in the pocket. Needs improvement.
I will say that I am enjoying listening to wayne and larry instead of the nbc coverage.
Would it kill them to get Monty or Abby some reps?
This offense hasn't been the same since Adams became a starter.

The all Lunchpail squad.
IMHO we need to throw them a curve by throwing to Cook!!! And do NOT use Cobb at RB! We need him worrying the defense by running downfield as a receiver, not at RB!
@The_Green_Gold
Let regroup:
1)Run right at Brian Robison
2)Deep comebacks to the perimeter
3)Screen game the double A pressure
Tafoya needs to lose the clothes. Not helping her.
Keep slurping Cris
every ****ing week he gets worse
Fandame posted:We expected to struggle on O, but not totally tank. AR needs to work on taking what the D will give him and stop trying for the deep ball that isn't there. The only thing working down the field is PI. We should also run a bit more and mix it up. Our O line is doing pretty well, but they are having to hold their blocks a long time before AR throws it.
The deep ball isn't working because Rodgers keeps missing the throw.
That's another thing. Where is Monty?
Alright! I'm ready for all those half time adjustments the Packers coaching staff have implemented!
Slants to Cook and Cobb!

Adams looked good last week. That TD catch was outstanding. He's not the problem. The play calling, and Aaron's throwing the ball, are. I don't know why, because Aaron is the one guy in the league, besides Brady, that I never expected to see lost on the field. But, right now, he is, more or less. And I don't know why that is.
It all goes back to MM thinking he is smarter than the rest of nfl. And now maybe his all pro qb, who hasn't played like one in over a year is taking on the thinking of his coach.
That's it, run behind Taylor and Bakhtiari.
I'm really surprised at the hate Dom Capers is getting. Usually he's well received here.
I think Rodgers vegan lifestyle is throwing off his game. Someone should take care of Yoko so he can focus again.
BD, Then take what the D gives you until you can get your mojo back and hit the long ball.
Lacy reminds me of sonic the hedgehog.
Ridiculous hold by Dicky.
@zachkruse2
You went and got Jared Cook to attack the middle of the field. But he can't even be a decoy until you actually make an attempt there
I only hope MM read this board at the half
Well, a tight end did something.
That looked right.
WTF was that?
lol
