The Niners are just killing them up front with 4 rushers.  Reminds me of the good Bears D.  Or Bucs 20 years ago.

Or the Giants pass rush that beat the Packers and Patriots in 2007 and 2011.

Or the Reggie White/Sean Jones/Santana Dotson/G. Brown front four from the 1996 Super Bowl team.

A dominant front 4 paired with a HOF-level DB like Richard Sherman (or LeRoy Butler) is a recipe to do this to teams.

I don’t care if no one is open.  Rodgers need to get rid of that.   Throw a 50/50 ball.

So you want him to turn into Favre? A guy does that and it sends a message you have no confidence in your defense.

Can't do any worse. Just play aggressive. What's to lose at this point?

The Packers need another 1-2 WRs, a real TE, 1-2 LBs, and probably another corner then they can compete with SF

Or 1 defensive coordinator that understands how to defend this shit show

Go UP tempo

It doesn't matter if they can't block a 4 man rush. We have almost 6 quarters of evidence that the Packers OL can't handle the Niners front 4.

Rush 4, have Richard Sherman take away half the field, and you have 6 guys to cover the rest. That's hard to beat. Unless you can run the ball, Rodgers in his prime isn't going to matter against this group.

I think what's more disturbing is the gigantic holes being opened up by the 9ers oline.

It's going to take a hell of an effort.  The fact it's early may be the only saving grace right now.

9ers Oline is destroying the Packers Dline.  No scheme can beat that.  9ers taking it to them on both lines.

It's still really early. I guess we'll find out if the Packers are completely checked out or whether they have some fight in them.

This could either be a 40+ point rout, or Rodgers could lead a huge charge and cement his legacy. If they could pass block, I'd say the latter was possible. But I'm not convinced they have the personnel to match up with the Niners. It's just a really bad matchup for them.

What should MLF do? Go max protection? He's clearly focused on the short passing game for the most part based on the number of screens and quick throws that have been called.

I could see someone thinking it's a bit of both (personnel and coaching), but suggesting the issue is mainly scheme is major dum, in my strongly held opinion.
