At this point, it's literally my love for the Packers that's keeping me at all interested in the NFL. If it weren't for them, I just wouldn't be watching anymore. The product on the field sucks. The game is a shell of its former self with all these pansy ass rules changes.

The league has no idea WTF it's doing. They're just throwing shit against the wall, and seeing what sticks.

It's the CTE that's forced the league to do this. I probably won't watch much once Rodgers is gone. I feel guilty watching as it is.

And I understand that. The problem is that the application of these rules is so incredibly uneven it's maddening.

If I start watching NFL football at noon-first game of the day on Sunday-I can see a penalty called. If I watch one of the 3 o'clock games, the exact same play can happen, and there will be no penalty.

If they were consistent, and got the calls right, I could deal with the dead spots in the game while the zebras huddle/chew their cud. But they don't. All this replay technology, and they screw it up far more than they get it right. The league has screwed the Saints over four games in a row. There's a very big problem.
