The first should have been caught. I think it's thrown the way it was to take away any chance of the defense getting to it.
The 3rd down throw wasn't terrible. Adams didn't even seem to try to drag his feet. Jordy Nelson made a living catching passes like that and getting his feet in.
The question would be why not try a run on one of those plays?
