The @packers are looking like Super Bowl favorites to me

And a big shoutout to Chris Collinsworth for these gems tonight:
"Kenny King"
"Al Lafleur"
He also said A.J. Williams at one point I think.
I think I heard a "Corey Dillon" once too.
Thatâs not Dillon dummy.
Special Teams donât count?
ST was poor again, but the defense clearly shined tonight. 98 yards for Henry is completely acceptable, and holding AJ Brown, Corey Davis, and Jonnu Smith to 73 total yards is outstanding. ABM may still have a job if this keeps up. The offense was sharp the vast majority of the game, with a perfect run/pass mix. As it stands right now, the favorites are clearly KC and GB. Not only a rematch of SB I, but it reminds me of the Packers vs Broncos in SB 32. The favored Pack looking to repeat as Champions with their young MVP QB Brett Favre vs the Broncos and their old MVP and surefire HOF QB John Elway. Now replace âPackâ, âFavreâ, âBroncosâ, and âElwayâ with âChiefsâ, âMahomesâ, âPackersâ, and âRodgersâ.
I like Jaire "crickets" Alexander
I thought Jaire made three plays in a row last night, punching the ball out. He is something else and is going to be very expensive soon....
@Herscher1 posted:Lot of posters were claiming how Titans #22 was going to clobber our defense. Pettine put together a great game plan and Henry was almost a non factor. Naysayers were very wrong this week.
Very wrong. So happy that Pettine made me look so foolish. That 5 man front was a thing of beauty.
The 5 man front is not new. We used it as far back as the NO game. We used it vs. Minny and still couldn't stop Cook. The difference now is that Clark is playing much better (must have been slowed by the groin injury more than it was being reported), moved Barnes to Mike & Kirksey to Will, and are playing Amos as the hybrid in nickel / dime.... plus our edges are not chasing the "splash play" as much and holding the edge better.

An overlooked thing is also Kevin King's availability. The Packers are 9-1 in the games he's played and 3-2 in the games he's missed. The only loss was the Colts game when the Packers turned the ball over 4 times.
To be clear, I'm not saying Kevin King himself is a superstar. He's a competent NFL CB. The reason they are much better with him on the field is that they don't have to play Josh Jackson. Jackson has been so bad that when he plays the safeties have to give a lot more help to his side which probably opens up the running game.
Fair point but I am beginning to think that using "competent" when describing King is generous.

King is actually a microcosm of this team as a whole. He shows you what he can be, and once he's proved his worth decides to take a break. He's got a lot of tallant, he just needs to understand that he can't rest on laurels. And it may not happen for him in GB. But his return to the lineup was definitely a plus for this group. As young as both these guys are, King and Alexander would probably be best cb tandem in the game unanimously if King chose to ball out on every play. His tackling effort is just awol on too many plays.
I've become more disenchanted with King as the season has progressed. He may be the only defensive player who has not improved at all over the course of this season. He often stands straight up with a high center of gravity which makes it difficult for him to change directions quickly, In addition he doesn't tackle particularly well. This kid ran a 4.4 forty and posted nearly a 40 inch vertical at the combine, but I don't see anywhere near that athleticism on the field (did he look anywhere near a 4.4 guy returning the fumble last week?)

Use some Thai spices. That's what I do.
I agree Henry. Don't think King will stay and don't think the replacement is on the roster. The Pettine D works a lot better when we play man instead of zone.
Rewatching some of the game; Kenny Clark was VERY good. He is playing like he did at the end of last season. Also Price had some good reps! We were hoping Rush would help, but Price might give us something instead.
That was, by far, the most enjoying game to watch this season.

Hopefully in six weeks this will be the 5th most enjoyable game to watch this season.
Odd to even mention officiating after a 14-40 loss.
The guy lined UP offsides didnât go early. Moron.
Obviously they missed Jones stepping out. BFD...think the Packers aren't going to score?? Come the fuck on son! The offsides was correct.
Seriously......saying ANYTHING about officiating after their defense gave up ~250 yds rushing plus 11 catches & 142 yards to a receiver -- give me an effing break.
You got pummelled.... officiating had exactly ZERO to do with that.
Sheesh, you'd think Vrabel was a Viking.
They were two bad calls. It cost Philly a game last weekend. It certainly didn't cost the Titans the game. Hail Mary, it happens.

To be fair to Vrabel, reading that article he didn't complain, rather it was the writer Mike Moraitis doing all the complaining. Vrabel actually said you have to expect bad calls in every game.
Replay of the Titans-Packers game is showing now on NFL Network...
