To me, it looks like the defense is playing 'prevent'. Big cushions, keep everything in front of you, etc. I don't know why, if that's the case.
Maybe that's what the coaches chose because of how much depth they are playing.
I just don't know that winning this game is a priority, and as long as MLF reached the goals he had for this game, I'm OK with that.

I think this is more of what a final preseason game used to look like (Used to... because now almost nobody plays in the preseason).
