Talk about a QB's stock falling. Mahomes' stock has tanked this year. It's rare to see a dropoff like he's had. Last year he was not as good as the year before, but this year he's like... bad.

I really hope it's not the result of the concussion he had last season.  Perhaps that's a stretch, but it seems like he's struggled since then.

Welp, can’t do any worse in the second half, right?  Pisses me off because the Chiefs really aren’t very good.

In normal circumstances it's a very winnable game. Can't have these mistakes on the road. Second half should be a learning opportunity for Love. And probably nothing more than that.

I guess I don’t understand MLF here.  You had KC somewhat on their heels RTFB and then got all MM.  Love clearly is overwhelmed right now.  Adams and the WRs are just coming back. RTFB.

Then again, as bad as Love has looked the so called best QB in the league has been fucking awful.

The guess is that once KC saw what the Packers are trying to do, they've adjusted and are going to make Love beat them by stacking the box. You can't run into 8 guys in the box usually.

Putting Bortles in at this point would be a huge mistake.  Love needs confidence.  To pull him now isn’t going to happen unless he’s injured.

There's always a learning curve but the kid doesn't look remotely ready.  His confidence is going to take as much of beating stinking the fucking place up.  It's not even bad reads or miscommunication, his passes are horrible right now.

Why the fuck would Rodgers take a knee there?   Kid has 0 football awareness.

Also, hilarious that we get an alignment penalty on kick return.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that.

How does a team get an alignment penalty on a KO? I thought you could line up any way you want as long as it's 10 yards away to start. After that, who cares? Weird penalty.

I'd like to see the ST coach not last past halftime.

Well after 18 months and 1 half, the front office now knows they either have to 1) do whatever they can to keep Rodgers for 2-4 more years; 2) get lucky in the draft; or 3) make one of the most expensive trades in history to poach someone else's QB.

Worst part about it, they moved up in the draft for someone no one will trade anything for at the cost of alienating their QB.

Put in Bort., run the god damn ball, throw in a few check downs, win the football game.

Good point. But I would give him another quarter and see if he starts to improve. But if not…

I’m trying not to rush to Judgment as we’ve seen so little of this kid.  That said what we have seen is really bad.

I kinda hope he gets the start again in SEA so we can see more and make a more informed decision at the end of the year.

Love is awful now and he was awful when they drafted him. Go back and watch his tape. It's on YouTube. If awful.

Shitty offense line play has been a lot of it. He's gotten pasted in most games since the Super Bowl.

Because KC is sending the house on a regular basis.  Love would need a full time 7 man oline at this point.

13-0.  Not insurmountable if we can fire Mo Suckton and get a little more creative on offense.  And man, get a little luckier on injuries.  FFS.

13-0 in this game feels like 35-0 with Rodgers at QB.

Did anybody else see that we had a guy run on late for the Chefs FG attempt?
I just can't believe ST coaching can be this bad at the NFL level.

After a new guy ran on late for a punt earlier in the half.

They know he isn't capable of adjusting to it. It's like a certain incompletion every time.

KC defense is going after Love which is understandable.  Our OL needs to protect better and MLF needs to call plays to take advantage of their aggressiveness like screens, etc.  If the D keeps it up and Love settles down we have a shot.  Special teams needs to not be eSPECIALLY bad.
