Not entirely true. He also played in 1 game in 2018 and 2 games in 2019, all in mop up duty at the end of the games. He never attempted a pass in any of those games. But he has also had 2 more training camps than Love and played more games as a starting QB in college.
Not sure college ball really means much considering the speed of the NFL. Mop up duty, not playing.
Cooper Rush wasn't a 1st rounder either.
But also remeber Rush was playing against the Vikings. 
And neither was brent.

Depends on Love's development timeline, or rather what MLF and the FO think it is. I hate using this trope and we'll never know, but how would AR have looked 18months in?
