I mean as I'm watching this sweet game there's absolutely nothing to hold up my argument.

Man.

It wasn't necessarily a comment on this game; it's a comment one what you've done on issue after issue for years.  It's your MO.

I'm so fucking pissed at the front office.

1. Not addressing special teams.

2. Not having an actual NFL quarterback on the roster to back up Rodgers.

3. Never accepting responsibility for fucking all this shit up.

I hope Rodgers forces them bankrupt to keep him, knowing that without him they are 3rd in the NFC North, at best.

Rodgers took himself off the fucking roster. Fuck Rodgers.

And "forces them bankrupt". Fuck man.....

Packers would be ahead of not for special teams

To be fair, if Crosby hits the first FG, I don't think there's a second FG because the Chefs would have punted instead of going for it on fourth down inside their own territory, and the game would have gone in a rather different direction.

It also means there would have been a FG attempt on what was in actuality Love's 4th down TD pass.

Hey, don't forget: As GB fans, we have seen one HOFer stepping in for another HOFer immediately. We have had more than 30 years of HOF QB play. So, Love comes in and he's not a HOFer. You expected as much? He was playing his first game. If anything, he looked like a rookie. In the second half, he looked a lot better. Was he great? No. Does he have a long way to go? Yes. Is he a HOFer? No. But everyone is acting like he should be an immediate HOFer.

I just want to rant a bit that he acted like a first-year guy getting his first start and it was in prime-time, nonetheless. If we expected the same level of Rodgers or even Rodgers' Dallas game, that's on you. If we expected the same thing of us as posters, we'd vilify each other over a comma.

I expected him to look as least as decent as Fields and that's not exactly a high bar.  Against a shit KC defense to boot.  The defense is the unit with all the injuries, not the offense.

Nothing sucks brospeh... it's a fucking shot and a personal decision that he made.  Save all the bullshit filler.  GB needs his ass.... and they had better fucking do what they can to keep him in GB.... just like you eluded to the entire fucking off season.

First off, he's not a first year guy...

It's not that I expected him to be a HOF'er... it's that I expected him to be good enough to actually be on an NFL team.

1. He never analyzed the defense pre-snap and always snapped with plenty on the play clock.

2. He can't throw a spiral.

3. He can't throw downfield.

4. His standard drop back is 12 yards.

5. He's worse than Kirk Cousins when under pressure.

6. He has no awareness of clock management.

7. He has no ability to understand basic quaterback skills, e.g., the middle of the field is open, which means your slant route is now your new number 1 read, not a wabbling duck to the corner that's 4 yards underthrown.

Ive watched a lot of rookies play better than he did this season alone.  He’s not the answer going forward.   It was a blunder to move up and waste a pick on him when Rodgers wasn’t close to being done.

I don’t think any of that is debatable after today.

When they needed 1 more defensive stop, Sullivan slips leaving Hill wide open

It happens. The defense kept them in it until the end. Minus the big man. The King drop hurt, but in fairness he's usually flailing 10 yds behind his man, so he never sees opportunities to drop ints. Mission accomplished, Kev. The D balled out all day. No shame in any of it.

Was it a waste to move up a pick? Based on today, yes.

But, how often have we all yelled at each other for not giving a guy at least three years to get their crap together in the NFL? Adams wasn't a world-beater his first couple of years, everyone gives MVS years to get it together, etc., etc. I'm not willing to jettison Love just yet.

Is Rodgers sitting at home laughing and coughing into his scotch? Probably. But he shoulders some of the blame for this and not being there for his team.

You back off from nothing man.  You think it's a strength... but in reality it's a weakness man.  You fail to see alternative view points or admit when your shit ain't right man.  GB needs 12 man.  You don't have to like him man... but you need him man.

When did I ever say they didn't need him man?  He is the Packers and that doesn't change with him being a lying shitbird.  It means for all the shit that went on this summer they looked like they were on the right track.  Then this shit show happens and it just shows how fucked up the whole organization is and it will cost them.  We just don't know how much.  Rodgers fucked the team by thinking he was above protocols for every player in the NFL not just the Packers.  The stooge FO went along with it.

Now man, go dig up my posts saying this team would be better if the Packers organization let Rodgers run completely roughshod even over safety issues for a global pandemic. I'm sure I've got that shit in there somewhere man.  A post saying Rodgers should be able to fuck up games, make sure the entire organization is penalized, possibly with draft picks getting yanked.

Yeah, I was totally on board for all that shit man.  Not that Typhoid AAron was the guy who wins the Super Bowl if you put talent around him, which was entirely my take.  You want to sub in Brady or any other QB and I'd totally say the same thing about the FO being fucking stupid with their half in/half out bullshit.  Man.

The worst thing I've said over the past couple of days is blow the whole thing up then.  Well, we just got a taste of what this team has to rebuild with.

It fucking sucks man.

So you go digging through those posts because there isn't jack diddly squat I'd take back about the FO being half ass chumps on team building, years of fuck ups and wondering why the fuck they gave up capital to draft Jordan Love.  None of that changes.

The only thing you get is the addition of Rodgers being a fucking shit weasel to the point it affects the team.

Man.

Because the FO in contract restructures made it clear they wanted to cut Rodgers loose and give Love the keys.

Seriously, how many decent passes did Love have the entire game?  3?  Maybe 4?

That wasn't just rookie, that was a flameout rookie performance.

Alright man, that was completely on topic.  You nailed it man.

I mean having no response it's super realistic to talk about rimjobs and shit because your personal shit is not righteous.

I’m glad you received this gift in the manner in which it was intended.

You’re welcome.

Fields? You mean the guy who was 6 of 13 for 60 and an INT in his first relief action of Dalton? Or the Fields who was 6 of 20 for 68 yards in his first start?

And still looked more in control than Love.  Like I said, it's not a high bar.

Love jury still out.  But, if Rodgers wants to move on which is likely I can see us drafting a QB high assuming we get a high draft pick which I think should be fair.  Guessing Adams leaves.  Somewhat rebuilding.

Well then I'm a total asshole man because I was all the way in the Free Range Zone when I responded.

Man.

Disagree.

Look as good as Fields?  You mean that game against Cleveland where he had like 9 yards passing?

Love made nearly about the same amount of good throws today as Pat Mahomes.  Which was not many.

He played OK, all things considered.   His mechanics were awful, he played a little tight, but as we saw later in the game he got more comfortable and had some good plays.

The funny thing is had the special teams done their job it’s likely the Packers win this game.  But people will dwell on Love and how bad he looked.

The story of the game was how well the run game and defense was.   But that will get lost because everyone wants to either crown or bury the QB.

@michiganjoe posted:

Love needs to play better, but it's pretty silly to write off his career after one game and the ridiculous overreactions really aren't a surprise.

He took over a 7-1 team and one of the top offenses facing one of the worst defenses.  He put up 13 points.

We’re not talking about the Jets here.  Either he sucks or Gutes roster sucks and Rodgers covers all the warts .   Because a 7-1 team shouldn’t look that bad.
