Half of them (at least) have been all-out blitzes that Love seems helpless to do anything against. It's like has no clue how to hit the hot read. The Chiefs aren't even disguising it at this point.

As a coach, you play the players who you think will help you win the game. What confidence does Love have left at this point? He looks completely lost. It’s like hockey when you pull the goalie after he gets blasted with 7 goals. You don’t want to ruin the goalie’s confidence. So ruining his confidence…we’ll, looks like that’s already happened.

That says more about how inept Mahomes and the Chiefs are now than it does anything about how Love has played. We’re in this game because of the defense. Period.

I’m actually glad that the answer about Love is so definitive. It makes the decision going forward easy. Worst case scenario he comes out and half the people think he played well and half didn’t. Then it’s harder to know the right move.
