The difference in athletes on the two offenses, particularly but not exclusively at WR, is just jarring.
(And yes Watson appears to be very athletic but he is really, really raw).

The point of a coach is to get your guys the best matchups possible to help them succeed.
O'Connell has dominated in that regard.
MLF's offense seems like a stale MM-type one today. A lot of that might be that the OL isn't good enough in terms of talent available to open up more of the playbook.
Of course, the play MLF designed probably for the last month to open the game should have been a 75 yard TD, but since then there hasn't been much that looks very creative or new.

I have to admit I’m impressed with the Vikings play calls. Find a guy to exploit our weakness.
