Florida v. Carolina. 2 OT games and 2 wins for the Panthers on Hurricane ice. That first game was (4) OT 😲. Amazing hockey if anyone is watching.

I totally agree. I am not a fan of any of the remaining teams but this has been one great Stanley cup playoffs.
I'm surprised Florida has taken it to Carolina. I would not have guessed they could hang with them, but Florida is definitely playing like a team. I'm not a fan of either Vegas or the Stars so I watch just to have it on, but Oettinger has been really good. Minnesota kid.
There has been some excellent hockey during these Stanley Cup playoffs.
The 4OT game was crazy. They basically played 2 1/3 games in one night.
Then they go to OT for game 2, but was over much quicker.
Both VGK/DAL games have gone to OT too. Just some really good, entertaining games so far.
I also don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm cheering for the Stars, since I'm a huge Joe Pavelski fan, who's from my neck of the woods.....Stevens Point/Plover WI.
The Panthers are an example of how an NHL time can catch fire right at the perfect time and make an unexpected deep run. When you have their goalie getting hot they may just take the whole thing.

VGK scores 3 in the first 8 minutes of game 3. Oettinger pulled.
Last night's game was unlike Oettinger. He's been pretty steady. But Dallas looked slow and a step behind all night.
Bob has been amazing for Florida! The guys in front of him are skating with so much confidence as they know he will save their butts if they screw up. Carolina just can't solve the Bob.
The beat goes on for Florida. They just look like the stronger team right now and everything is clicking. I never thought they would get this far. The game was pretty well over after the first goal, and that truck hit on the Carolina guy.
Wow was Vegas ready to play tonight.

After the first 2 games of the finals, VGK look like they deserve the Cup. I'd like to see FLA come back and make this a good series.
VGK is faster, more athletic, more disciplined, just flat out the better team, top to bottom and Florida knows it. Which is exactly why they're trying muck up the game. It's their only chance.
Same as the Heat in the NBA Finals too.
The question is, will VGK stay disciplined and focused. They need 2 more wins.....and man was Gretzky right after game 1. He said after game 1, the scary thing for Florida is he thinks Vegas will play even better in Game 2. Turns out Wayne Gretzky knows a thing or 2 about hockey. 😁
