That kick wasn't going to be good even IF nobody blocked it.
Funny thing.....if he made the Xtra point plus the previous FG, they would've been down by 7 and the Texans probably go for it on 4th down.
Funny how football works.

I think Fairbairn will be looking for work, in the off season.

The Texans special teams coach will probably be as well.
Whoever took the Chiefs at -9.5 is going insane right now!
Wish our disjointed offense was aS productive as KCs disjointed offense
I thought this game reminded me of when the Texans played in Green Bay earlier this year, so I had to have a look at some game info.
It was as I remembered; very close in the first half (they lead 19-14 at the half), then the Packers defense asserted themselves in the second half, sacking Stroud to kill drives, and forced a lot of punts.
It still took a last-minute FG to get the win...
Fox TV pregame crew pouring love on the Lions. Think I'll go puke.
And the special teams suck continues.
Nixon would've fielded that KO.
Fowler with a huge TFL for Washington.
Good opening series by Washington's defense.
Why Houston didnāt attempt a FG before the 2 minute warning Iāll never know. Teams need a common sense guy next to the head coach at all times.
His arm did not look good there.
Canāt believe didnāt go for it š
and yes Nixon would have caught that and tried to return.

They are already very short on defensive players.
Lions defense just drops like flies with injuries. Unreal

Lolā¦.they probably didnt want their kicker anywhere near the ball after the game he was having.

Maybe they didn't have any confidence in Fairbairn?
Lord, might have broke his arm
Ekeler for 24 yards!
Well, the refs didn't wait long to become involved.
Never mind a piss-poor call.
Take the points.
Commanders got too cute
That was one of the dumber play calls Iāve seen today.
Lions pull a meathead move and get stuffed on 4th down.
Dude should have pitched it to Daniels.

That was the play. He just spent too much time selling the dive into the line.
Bad bad call on the head Bob but terrible 4th down play call:execution RB came in to push Marriota and keot him from completing the pitch to Danielās.
Here comes the onslaught
WAS gonna have a hard time limiting that DET O.
Ya know....when you want to run a trick play on 4th down...it's probably a good idea to practice that trick play in the week leading up to the game. Just a thought š¤·š»
Gibbs is very good.
Loved seeing the great Barry Sanders in the stands. In one of the great Packers post season wins, they held him to -1 yards rushing.
Z Smith with his one play for the night.
3rd & 10....perfect pass....Dude! You have to catch that football. Wow that was awful.
7-3 Loins
