We lose to the fricking vikings by 2 points, AGAIN! At least 6 points not on the board while in FG range. TD called back on a flag. Ref fiasco on the MN FG miss saying Cooper was offsides.
At least vikings and lions have to beat the stuffing out of each other next week.
Not taking the points. And the Fanthom call on cooper when they missed the fg

Neither game was as close as the score. This team just doesn't have it against the Vikings and Lions. Our days of owning the division are over.
Love is not good enough to overcome a mediocre roster. He's good, but he isn't worthy of the 30% of the cap. That formula for roster building only works with truly elite QB's like MaHomie and Rodgers in his prime.

The vikings had something to do with that.

Going for it on 4th and short in the red zone is a pretty good example of trusting your players and playing to win. It just didn’t work out.
On one hand MLF sucked tonight.
On the other hand that was not offsides on the FG at the half.
On the other other hand MLF really sucked tonight.
One of the glaring issues is Matty Schottenheimer is awful in meaningful games. No one gives a shit if you beat a terrible New Orleans team 34-0. They haven’t beaten a good team all year. They have also struggled in the playoffs.

And your formula for roster building is what? All you ever have is criticism.
By the way, quit blaming Love already. Rodgers lost a number of games just like today because of shitty coaching or bad defense or special teams. We aren’t even in this situation (11-5) without Love.
It’s hard to fathom with all the experience he has in football, MLF is lacking so much terms of judgment. He’s gotten nearly every replay wrong, doesn’t stick with the run game when he falls behind, and lacks a killer instinct. He’s the epitome of Marty ball. Smart enough to be good, but not good enough to win it all. It’s tough to get rid of a coach like that, just ask Kansas City. They’ll get you close, and then break your heart.
@Maxi54 posted:It never worked with Rodgers either.
The common denominators? Gute, MLF and Murphy.

Let’s shitcan all of them. Those of us who lived through the 70’s and 80’s miss those days.
FFS
Get a pulse from #90 and this defense is a whole lot different.
Love didn't play well today. I suspect he'll be the first to own up to it.
To plsy this bad and only lose by 2 is not much of a consolation.
He didn’t lose the game man. The lack of pass rush was horrible. You need to heat up the quarterback and the packers didn’t today. Go tell me van ness’ stat line titmfatied.
Awful, awful draft pick that has set this defense back.
I didn't say he lost the game. He didn't play well.
He didn’t play great but didn’t turn the ball over. You have a former #13 pick in the draft with 1 tackle and zero sacks. Inexcusable.

Good players from Iowa throughout the league, (LaPorta, Campbell, Hockenson, DeJean, Wirfs, Linderbaum, etc.) and Gute uses high picks on two duds. (Josh Jackson and Van Ness)
I watched almost all of Van Ness's games at Iowa and he was a good college player but I wasn't very happy when Gute took him with the 13th pick. I really believe the Pack thought they were getting a raw Adrian Hutchinson type of player. We can see how well that gamble has paid off.
I’ve said it a million times, it’s not just passing on TJW that cost them, it’s all the other moves and signings and draft picks they used after the fact to try to bolster the pass rush.
No way they spend a top 15 pick on Gary or Van Ness if JJs brother is on this team.
Maybe it’s possible Van Ness just isn’t that good of a player? I mean, it’s not like he was a highly decorated 4 year starter at Iowa.
The Rashaun Gary deal is far different. He’s shown he can be a difference maker in the pros, but it’s like aliens hijacked the real 52 and sent us back someone else.
It's quite possible that TJ would be fat, drunk, and out of the NFL if GB drafted him.
For the sake of fucks.

Not just today. Darnold looked like he played in a different league. Not the first time that's happened. I'm beginning to think Love has bought into his own hype. He's not doing the little things and his passes are missing.....badly.

Ah, yah, I wish Jordan would get hurt again. I like the vibe, and I know have said this forever, but when Willis is playing, the team looks, and really feels different. Willis just had a whole different attitude than Love.

First time I remember him holding team mates to account. I don't mind it, interesting to see how everyone responds.

By far your worst post on Timesfour.
By a mile. Shame.
One thing I really don't like is MLF talking about his decisions to go for it on 4th down at 4:51 of his presser. He keeps reiterating it's a 'gut thing'. There should be some process and planning to it, imo (or at least lie that there is) . Everything seems to go helter skelter when those calls don't go his way.
His approach makes it tougher on the players than Gamblin' Dan. At least the Lion's players know their lunatic coach is going on on the drop of a dime and they're ready for it at all times. MLF is a bit neurotic and it can carry over into the game day operation. Everyone can get on pins and needles.
To be fair, Minnesota is one of the toughest away games all year. Have to do better defending 1265 next year to earn the split.
