We can never cover a TE as far as I remember. Our Middle LBs have always been weak

I think the OTfalling down helped
First down sack, and they have no problem getting a new set of downs. 
Might want to adjust the scheme to cover the TE on the crossing route. A good high school QB could complete those with no pass rush.
