I think they'll keep chugging along because they built a good division lead; now is when Philly may overtake them for the top seed. That defensive roster is gutted. Their coaches will keep them in games, but their offense will have to score a lot more points to take them to the SB, and now it appears Montgomery is out for a while, too.

Campbell just deactivated their P.

Holy shart, the Pack are certainly a better team now than Detroit at least on paper.

As long as the offense remained in tact, the Lions were always going to be formidable opponent for a team like GB, but Montgomery is their battering ram. Without him, Gibbs while very good will not withstand the punishment.

Just wow.

Really hope the LIons win out and GB goes there if they win the first game on the road because I think the Pack is CURRENTLY the better squad.

I for one am shedding great big alligator tears as to what has happened to Detoilet.   Nobody had any cares as to what happened to the Packers in 2010.  Another year with no Superb Owl appearance for Detoilet.

I don't shed tears for any opposing team when it comes to injury.  It's part of the game.  But they are a vastly different team today than they were back in September and October.  The amount of significant injuries to their defense is just crazy. They are a much easier out now than they were at midseason. And they're still really good.

It will be interesting to see how they finish the regular season.  Sometimes when good teams loose important players, they are able to keep chugging along at first because coaches make tweaks to schemes and personnel that can result in some unscouted looks vs their opponents.  But once those tweaks settle in, output starts to dive as opponents have also adjusted.  I recall this happening in GB over the years.  First game after the loss of a starter/starters may be fine but a few games further down the road start to show the drag if replacements can't pick up the slack.

I don't know if the Bills defense is good or bad?  But they sure allowed the Lions and Goff to score a lot of points in their win over them. It was too close for comfort and a nail biter towards the end of the game.

At this point in time, I'd say the Loins are more apt to chok than the Vikings are.
They can potentially lose 2 out of their last 3 games (SF and Vikings), and find themselves traveling for the wild-card round.
A downside to that may be that the Packers could finish no better than the 6th seed, Although that may not be a huge factor in the end.
They will likely go to TB (current NFCS leader) or a rematch with Seattle or the Rams (whoever wins their division). I like our chances in any of those scenarios.

Atlanta announces it’s benching Kirk Cousins, Michael Penix Jr. to start.

@RapSheet:  The financials: Kirk Cousins got $62.5M this season and the team is on the hook for $27.5M fully guaranteed next year. Definitely a tradable contract if a team believes in what Kirk Cousins has to offer.

Cousins vs. TAM in 2024: 8 TD, 1 INT
Cousins vs. anyone else: 10 TD, 15 INT

If the Packers end up playing Tampa, they might want to check out that tape....just a suggestion

Kirk Cousins has made an absolute shit ton of money for a guy that’s generally considered an above average at best QB throughout his career.

Yessir! We can also knock points off the hype, just because he was a viking. Thank the Wilfs for setting the QB market, by overpaying, for an average, at best, Kark Cousins.

According to Google, Cousins has made $294,169,486 in his career.  If he plays out his contract in Atlanta, which he won't, his career earnings would be $411.6 million.

For Kirk fucking Cousins.  Wow.

Auto Correct😆

Kirk is the classic tease. Good enough to get you there but never good enough to win anything. How many playoff games has he won? Is it 1 or 2? I think it's 2

YOU LIKE DAT?!?! YOU LIKE DAT?!?!?

It all depends on who wants to pay Darnold.  If the Vikings and another team come in with the same money I think Darnold walks.  He would feel disrespected if the Vikings don't offer a longer term deal as soon as their season is over.
