Green Bay won this game 50 minutes ago.
LOL! With all the crooked ref calls favoring the Queens, with Rodgers at < 50%, and with the queenie slimy luck, they still could not beat the Pack.

Why - messing up TO's? Other than that, the game and team looked good. Cannot beat the poor officiating when guys make game winning plays.
Graham and Adams had chances for TD's - they needed to grab one of those in hindsight, but the Matthews (ed) forced INT won the game to those who know the game.
Herschel posted:Tschmack posted:And people wonder why ratings are down

Ratings are only down as TV ratings in general are down. The NFL's share is higher than ever.
2016-2017 their ratings are down nearly 19%, and they have doubled down on dumb.
We need to set up a "shadowstats" site for the NFL.
Packers currently at 2-0.
Someone's Dog needs to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Purgatory
I have complained about time out management more than once. Both MM and AR are to blame for that, just awful.
McCarthy is a ****ing dolt.
I feel violated
The nfls problem is head trauma. They know itβs a huge liability and league ending bad pr to have guys end up like vegetables. But the rules they have to make to protect guys in a violent sport take the fun away from the game.

Team failed to finish drives. Game was only close because Crosby got too much work.

Remember the fail Mary? That was worde and we are all still watching.
I think these OT suck. They should do it like in soccer and settle it by penalty kicks!
BS call on Davante for OPI. BS non call for viking interfering with Graham. BS call on Matthews. He was committed to the play and Cousins was still throwing the ball. Let's see how this tie screws up our playoff chances or the vikings playoff chances, for that matter, if either are near the playoffs.

That tackle Clay made was a ****ing TEXTBOOK rugby tackle. It doesn't get any ****ing cleaner than that. If they can't ****ing discern that then they need to get kicked in the ****ing head.
IT IS THE EPITOME OF HOW TO TACKLE A QB!!!
I hope Ratpack doesn't have a dog....
I agree Henry, but he came down with his weight on Cousins. That is the effect of the Rodgers Rule. It's gonna get called, incorrectly at times. Just sucks. Nothing he could have done but what can you do?

Iβm with you. But you have to believe refs get marching orders to protect QB at all costs.

In soccer, they'd break the tie on the away goals rule.
Well at least it shuts up the Queen fans in my neighborhood.....ha ha. So that for sure is a win in my book.
I seriously have no clue who is to blame for that last drive and those two passes. Makes no ****ing sense.

Get used to it, it's only going to keep getting worse from here with these calls. It's the new, improved, "safe" NFL in action.
Aaron Rodgers on FOX after game lamented settling for field goals all day. On the outcome: βItβs nice not to have an L, but a tie doesnβt feel much better.β

I'm sure they do but that's just beyond par. I can't think of any contact sport where you can take a cleaner hit and have it be seen as a detriment. I fully advocate for stripping down the amount of padding and mandating rugby tackling. Even that won't stand? I'm just ****ing flabbergasted.

Perfect comparison. I feel exactly like I'm watching the WWE when I'm watching the NFL and I sure as Hell don't waste my time on that s*** so I don't know why I continue to waste my time on the NFL.

The game has become too centered on QBs. If you lose your starter, your season is almost always over, and that one player will eat up a huge chunk of your salary cap every year if he's a Pro Bowl caliber QB. Every time a big star like Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers goes on IR, the NFL tacks on more rules to protect quarterbacks. Gotta protect those big investments and keep them on the field. This, combined with all of the bad publicity over CTE has caused this trash to come to a head. In ten years, they will be playing flag football.
