Apparently was assaulted by the mothers current boyfriend, and has severe head injuries. Peterson is in Sioux Falls SD with him at this time and may miss Sunday's game.

Yesterday the Sioux Falls Argus Leader had a story about Adrian Peterson being in town having lunch and then this morning of a 2-year-old in critical condition without mentioning Peterson. Regardless of whose kid it is, it is tragic.
Adrian Peterson is back with the Vikings and will practice Friday.

I'm a pretty passive guy but **** like this brings out the desire for the immediate justice of death in me pretty easy. Don't know how AD is keeping himself in control but I applaud him if he's able.

Wow, what kind of scumbag would do that to a 2 year old child. May the courts send that guy away for a long, long time, then in prison "justice" will occur to seal his fate.
Equally disturbing is PFT felt compelled to turn off the thumbs up or down option on it due to the number of people giving a thumbs down (or disliking) on comments of support for the well being and recovery of the boy, AP and his family. Just what is wrong with some people. This goes way beyond fans ribbing or antagonizing a rivalry team (cant quite figure out how to say it right). But, as much as I dislike the vikes I would not wish this tragedy on them or anyone. To thumbs down well wishes and support for a positive outcome is just plain sick.

Kids now dead, worst outcome possible in this tragic event. Personally grieving for/with the AP family. So sad.
My wife works social services, heard countless stories all very tragic. Way way too many POS running around, how anybody can take and harm these kids is just beyond my comprehension. Thoughts and prayers to AP and the rest of his family.
