No doubt in my mind GB would have given Carolina a better game. Palmer was straight trash out there and gave the Cards no chance. This Panthers team is dominant, though. Fully expecting them to win the SB

If the Pack cant win it, Ill enjoy the Panthers taking it home down here in NC.

attended Carolina first franchise victory over NYJets in Clemson,SC their first year ('95) Kerry Collins and Neil O'Donnell... haha

If you could pluck a TE off any NFL roster and plug him into the Packers offense, would you pick Greg Olsen or Gronkowski.

I think Gronk is the best TE in the game right now when healthy, but I think I would be inclined to go with Olsen.  I could live with the off field stuff with Gronkowski but the injuries affecting his availability in the last couple of years shift the balance to Olsen for me.

Gronkowski might end up as the best TE in NFL history. He's scored 65 TDs in 80 regular season games, and 9 TDs in 9 post-season games. He averages 14.6 yards per catch and is an outstanding blocker. The plays he made today on the 4th down conversions would have been outstanding plays for a Pro Bowl WR, let alone a 6'6", 265 pound TE.

Greg Olsen is a great player. He has 49 TDs in 145 regular season game and averages 11.6 yards per catch. Again, a great player but not in Gronkowski's class.

Palmer has been only been picked off 3 times. But he's thrown a total of 7 that should have been picked.

This is historically bad Title game stuff.

Try and keep up.

We're approaching Favre's 6 pick playoff territory.

Carolina would have trashed us....especially with Cobb out.  They are physically imposing on both sides of the ball.  I won't be surprised if they trash Denver.  Carolina's D is much better than the Pats.

Not saying GB would have beaten this Panthers team, but they certainly would have been more competitive. Rodgers wouldn't have been giving so many gifts to Carolina

This Panthers team is clearly the class of the NFL this year. Never truly bought in earlier in the year but can't deny it now. Their offense, despite having no real big names outside of their TE, is extremely explosive, and their defense is nasty. I also think they'll handle Denver. Would have liked them over the Pats as well

Stars aligning for that team this season

Panthers were impressive, especially Kuechly and Cam.  I've been wrong about a lot of players in the draft but Cam is by far my worst call.  I thought he'd be a bust, following in the long line of great college running QBs that never translated to the pros.  Clearly I know jack about scouting.......

And Kuechly........he's what I thought AJ Hawk was going to be.  He's like a DB in coverage but hits like a truck in the box.  Can't think of any non-pass rushing LB in football that's even close to his level.

Should be an interesting game against Denver.  Most people think that Cam will fall apart eventually due to his lack of experience but has clearly bucked that predication thus far.  So long as he doesn't turn the ball over more than Manning, I don't see how the Panthers lose.

I thought Cam would do well if there was a coach that would tailor the scheme to his skills. I never believed there was a coach that would do that as well as Shula. Cam's improvement as a passer is the difference for him and Carolina, if he didn't take that next step as a passer then they would still be just a good running team with a stout defense. His passing is what has put them in the SB, but I still don't think he's a great passer. His OLine has been outstanding and has given him clean pockets with little pressure. In the past Cam has been shaky when teams have pressured him. If Denver can pressure him, I think we will see him struggle. If not then Denver gets blown out again.

Arizona what a bunch of pretenders.  Palmer...really.  He lucked out last week in that Peppers blew coverage and Fitzgerald single-handedly won that game for the Cardinals.   Bruce Arians...better not win coach of the year.   The Packers would have been more competitive and maybe even beat Carolina, just for the sake of revenge.

I'm afraid a serious regression is due for Cam. I just don't think he's the type of passer that can sustain this type of production.

He'll always be a threat in the run game, but we've seen how that can eventually fade out because of injuries.

holy **** Palmer is completely destroyed. I honestly don't think he'll ever recover from this. The Panthers have cut off his face and are wearing it as a mask. That's how bad this is

Be sure to pause to let them chant "MVP" Cam you insufferable narcissist.

Yeah, "Cam I Am".  We gotta watch the ego "blow up" for the next two weeks.

Nobody's forcing you to pay attention to the two weeks of pre-game sh!t.

There's another week of Australian Open tennis; the Bundesliga has resumed after the winter break; or you could watch some good movies.
