Another late ass start time for a bowl game that doesn't matter
A little more on Okie State. Lost 4 of their last 5 games. Their main QB, Spenser Sanders has 57. 6% completion rate, 17 TDs and 9 INT. He has also rushed 107 times for 391 yards. The main RB is Dominic Richardson. He's rushed 149 times for 543 yards and 8 TD. Pretty good kicker, 40/40 on PAT and 21/22 on FG with a long of 52.
Best defender looks to be a safety, Jason Taylor. Led the team with 72 solo tackles and 6 INT.
Maybe Mertz can transfer there and play in the game?

What's the point of bowl games with the transfer portal? Teams missing multiple players that they aren't even the same team from the season?

It does give the underclassmen a chance to play another game. National exposer is never a bad thing for those young guys if they have NFL talent. Also alumni that live in the area of the bowl can go watch the guys play.
Maybe they need to change the transfer portal to open on Jan. 10 instead of December. Even for players whose coaches have left or got fired.
