Fastball Freddie has to shine this year if the Crew is going to make any noise.

Hey, hey, the Crew is on my TV. Letβs go Brew Crew. πΊ
Kind of a shaky start for Freddie but he has settled down and has retired the last 8 in a row. Only 2 hits and 5Ks thru 5 innings. B rain Anderson with a 2 run homer, Crew leads 3-0 batting in the 5th.
Bryce Truang hits a Grand Slam and the Crew leads 10-0.
Turang with a slam!
Itβs a crushing!!!!!!!! Just what Iβve always wanted.
Turang does everything well. Today he's made 2 nice defensive plays, stole a base that manufactured a run, and has 2 hits and a BB. His OBP is off the charts.
Peralta has been dominant after the 1st inning.
1st 16 innings of year:0 runs
Last 16 innings: 22 runs.
Wilson with his last save of the season.
I am saddened nobody βgotβ my pithy thread title. Now that Sartori has me on ignore, I donβt even know why I try around here.
Good video, I was familiar with a lot of those names.
Great to see the young guys doing well.
How worried are we about Yelich? He was at least league average last year.
It's only 4 games, but Yelich has struck out 9 times in 15 at bats. He's 3 for 15 with 4 walks.
He was 3 for his last 26 in spring training.
Maybe he gets hot, but that many strikeouts is not a good sign.
It has to be in his head. Needs to talk to someone and get it straightened out.

I didn't considerate pithy, I thought it was spot on.
Marry me.

He's actually hit some balls hard but at people. Today was not one of those days, 4 Ks and a BB. Never put the ball in play. They said he had 161 Ks last year. He might have to shorten his swing, nobody gets quicker as they age.
He is having major trouble on inside strikes. He can't catch up to them right now or doesn't swing at all. Lighter bat might help?

Sure. tell me who you want to marry and I'll perform the ceremony.

You may have gotten more people "getting" your thread if you had called it "Bet The Meats"

Fedya still appreciates your historical pithiness.
nice of Yelich to get a hit. I'd like to see a little more of that
What's not to like about the Anderson kid.
Anyone notice he has the same name as the Danish former international motor speedway rider.

Milley with 5 shut-out inningsβ¦Sweet.
There is a lot to like about these new players. A couple nice plays in the field that inning by the rookies. Weimer has been on base twice and Anderson is a major upgrade at 3B. I mentioned it earlier in a thread. When Taylor and Urias return I think the Brewers are going to regret signing Voit.
We're going to find out how good our bullpen is tonight. A score like this after 6 innings used to be a lock.
That helps! 3-0.
4-0. Anderson is a hitting machine. What a pick up this guy is going to be. Now if you hit a HR they crown you with a cheesehead. 5-0. 3 HRs in a row!
back to back to back
This is nuts !
Iβm so damn far behind you folks on MLBTV.
Spahn looks good tonight , though.
You're not missing anything. It's like a rerun of yesterday. LOL. Our #4 and #5 starters each pitched 6 inning of shutout ball against the Mets.
Iβm so far behind, Front Row Amy is in a training bra.
Pounding away again. Anderson with 10 RBIs this season. 9-0.
Now Anderson and Mitchell back to back !
Brian Anderson, NL player of the month and he's only needed 4 days. And it was outstanding that the back to back to back HR came off Scherzer!! Go for the sweep! What would you call a sweep where all 3 are shut outs?
