That’s nice. But I kinda hope he can fill in some at MLB. Quay is still learning and seems a bit hesitant at times. I believe that Barnes is on IR?

Barnes is on IR. McDuffie is the backup to Walker. Wilson is probably better suited to back up Campbell.

Not to mention those damned "round a bouts". The bane of us rural midwesterners.

These have become all the rage in my County (at least), and I think in the metro Atlanta area overall.
We may be lucky (?) that they are all single-lane; I remember metro Baltimore had several 2-lane designs we had to navigate... plenty of horn-honking and giving the finger was involved.
Atlanta-area drivers can barely navigate the single lane ones; not everybody understands the "yield" concept. Yet they have licenses...

He needs to sell out more to support the run D.  He kept guys back Sunday being overcautious about allowing any big pass plays when facing a 3rd string QB.  NYG's situation will probably be even worse Sunday so there won't be a better opportunity to load the box.  On top of that, players gotta play.  We've seen this D be tentative with their physicality and tackling and we've seen them turn it up a notch.

Word. ^^

Even if Daniel Jones plays, hard to think he's going to be any better than 70% in terms of mobility. And that's a very big part of his game. I watched almost all of the Bears game and by the time they went Wild Cat with Barkley, Jones couldn't even move on the field. He was literally just standing there and the only reason he was on the field was to relay the call into the huddle.

Tyrod is in the protocol and after the Tua debacle, hard to imagine he is going to be cleared either.

Maybe the Jake Fromm show?

@ByRyanWood:  #Packers coach Matt LaFleur says RB Kylin Hill will not practice today. His window to return from PUP has opened.

@BillHuberSI:  "We'll see," LaFleur says of Jaire Alexander's status this week.

@dduggan21: Strongest sign that [Giants QB] Daniel Jones will be ready for Sunday: Brian Lewerke, who was on standby in a local hotel after working out Tuesday, was sent home, per source. All signs point toward Jones starting with Davis Webb as the No. 2 unless Tyrod Taylor clears concussion protocol.

When is the team leaving for London, tomorrow night?  There have been many opinions over the years regarding how much time to allow for the six hour time change, etc. for NFL teams.

Yes, they are having practice tomorrow then heading to London. Supposed to arrive early Friday.

Similar experience but flew into Dublin and out of Shannon a week later.  After a week driving I finally got somewhat used to sitting and driving opposite.  Always had to really remember to pay attention when turning right.

Also flew into Shannon from London, then drove to Limerick, Killarney (my favorite stop by far), Kilkenny and Dublin.  Never had a problem with driving on the opposite side, or with the round-abouts.  Not a drop of Irish blood in me, but I loved our time there.

When queried about the best 5 OL, and would he like to see Yosh at RT, 12 gently bristled and said Yosh has played a lot of LT for us, and so he wasn't so sure RT was a good fit...but that he liked the 5 OL they have right now.

We've all seen what happens when 12 doesn't trust the OL around him...he gets squirrelly in the pocket.

If the current OL makes him happy, then it doesn't how matter how many balls we think Newman or JRJ suck...keep him upright and good things will happen.

I believe this is his 3rd London game,,

@WesHod:  Adrian Amos (concussion protocol), David Bakhtiari (knee) and Elgton Jenkins (knee) back at practice. Jaire Alexander is participating, too. Marcedes Lewis took his usual Thursday rest day.

NYG reporters saying QB Daniel Jones is practicing.

Yep, won a game with the Rams and lost with the Titans. Rasul Douglas was there with the Eagles and he flat out said these trips fucking suck.

It f—ing sucked,” Douglas said, via Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com. “You don’t get to do nothing over there. You just f—ing get on a plane, get over there and f—ing practice, and then you play a game. You get back on a plane and travel f—ing eight hours somewhere else.”

I mean, what's the flip side of this? If he says he's in favor of Nijman then he's calling out someone (*cough* Newman) as being not good enough.

I'm sorry, but Newman is not one of the top 5 OL on this team. I don't think he's top 6 for that matter.

Get in another full game from Bakh (no series rotation) with no setbacks then start the process of moving Nijman to RT and Jenkins inside.

Thats not good..  We don't want more London games, should have boycotted.

I wonder if the Packers could hold out another 10 years before they come here again. I did notice that all Packers London packages were the first to sell out, and did so quickly. I’d like to know how they did money-wise compared with other teams.

Found on the internet:

With a win this weekend, and a Chicago Bears loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers would officially take over as the all-time franchise wins leader in NFL history.

The Bears have held this mark since the 1920s, essentially since the total was at all worth looking at. This means for the first time basically in NFL history, the Bears will not be the NFL’s all-time wins leader. That honor will, instead, go to their arch nemesis.

Sounds like the Giants aren't going this route. Saturday sounds like a cool day for the team. Maybe that also means they will be in full tourist mode and not be thinking about getting ready for Sunday..

Great post YA. Its quite remarkable these two teams have been playing for 100 years and are actually tied for team wins. Getting the lead on them would be another feather in the Packers caps like when we overtook them in head to head wins. The Bears held that record since 1936 or so.

How about using Zach Tom at RT if Jenkins goes to RG, replacing Newman?
