Blown call does not equal throwing the game. So no buckaroo, it wasn't proven he threw the game. Throwing the game means he blew it intentionally, he clearly didn't. He admitted it was the wrong call, but it wasn't intentional. And yes a veteran official of almost 20 years has a more valid opinion than some twerp high school coach. Ed Hochuli says it was the wrong call, Easley says it was the right call...hmm who am I going to believe?

This is true, and Tate certainly fought for the ball. This doesn't mean simultaneous possession though, as that is a completely different thing and did not occur by any intelligent persons standard. Neither did Tate manage to take possession at any time, meaning Jennings secured possession first, and always.

We see all the time on INT's or even receptions, where the other player grabs the ball and both players hold on for dear life. This is not simultaneous possession, and possession always goes to the person who secured it first and maintained possession. Jennings secured it first, and never relinquished possession.

This really isn't rocket surgery.

Ah yes, the butthurt Steelers fan who still can't get over the XLV loss. I've read enough of that dude's crap

MAybe you should look at this

but hey, nobody ever said you have to believe the facts. You look like a moron, but it's your right to be a moron. More power to you
What's the point of going tit for tat on who got what call? WELL THE PACKERS GOT A GREAT CALL EARLIER ON THE PASS INTERFERENCE SO...what's the end of this statement? So...the Seahawks deserved to get one back? So the Packers and Packer fans don't have the right to be pissed about a blown call? Infantile. Yeah the refs blew a call that went for the Packers earlier, doesn't mean the Seahawks deserve a make up call. So the Seahawks got screwed in their SB appearance. Boo hoo, quit crying and move on. What happened in the past is the past. Stop trying to use past calls to justify the Seahawks getting a gift. They didn't deserve it. Finding 2 sports writers who back up your claim versus the dozens of others who say your wrong is weak at best.
Thanks CAPackFan for putting the thread almost back on topic.

It did start out as Brandon Browner assaulting Greg Jennings but I can handle the morph into the final play of Monday Night.

What I can't handle is it morphing into a discussion of the 2010 10-6 Packers, so that Roland here can justify the worst call of all time in the NFL.

WHAT?!?!?

Back on topic....

Browner assaulted Greg Jennings and Tate never caught the ball. Enjoy your gift.

FYI, I didn't allow you in timesfour to constantly harass us. So unless you're going to start discussing football rationally, you're going to have a tough time sticking around here.

Simply put, both teams had calls to extend drives. The difference? The Packers made a touchdown out of it. Seattle didn't. They were given a TD on an INT. Packers had to run 8 more plays to score their TD

FTFY.
I wonder if it's a ***centage (%) of his game check or contract? Definitely is an unusual amount.

EDIT: Apparently X4 doesn't want you to use the word ***centage (%)...should I use the symbol instead?

This is rich. The Packers somehow lucked into winning the Su***bowl?

Just goes to show acting and sounding like an idiot isn't limited to just Vikings and Bores fans.

So your argument to "it was a TD" is a strawman argument about the 2010 Packers? That is some serious backpedaling snookums.

Maybe some more whining about all the big meanies here might give you more cred. Putz.
