With Washingtons loss last night, I believe the Bucks clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight. Would that be the earliest any team has ever done it?
GSW clinched on February 25th the year they won 73... 
I hope they kick the shit out of Philly. So tired of hearing how they are built to beat Milwaukee and are way more talented than the Bucks.

Check that- the year they won 73 they clinched on February 27th with a 52-5 record. The following year they clinched on February 25th at 49-9.

Anyone that hasn’t been to Fiserv Forum to check this team out is really missing a great fan experience. Been to 5 games this year and 4 last year and if I lived a little closer I’d probably get season tickets. All I know is I will be attending the playoffs this year.
I have attended dozens of Packers games, plenty of Badgers football and basketball games, and maybe a hundred Brewers games in my lifetime and this team in that arena beats them all. And that includes seeing some of those previously mentioned teams playing in the postseason.
This just feels like a special season and the last time I felt like this was the 1996 Packers team. They just won’t be denied.
Laying the smack down on the Sixers is always a good situation.
Totally agree that going to Bucks games right now is more fun than Packers or Brewers. I had season tickets the past 3 years but decided to save some money and just go to a few games this season. The whole experience is top notch, as is the basketball on the court.
Heck I even liked going to the Bradley Center when Kidd was coaching. Sometimes it was more entertaining to see the opponent than it was to watch the Bucks but I still liked it.
It will be interesting to see how the Sixers handle Horford's playing time tonight. He was benched for large portions of their last game (an OT win) in which he his +/- was -26 in 19 minutes.
He was brought in to help guard Giannis. Do they play heavy minutes tonight or do they continue to sit him for long stretches?

Nice to see George Hill back in there. He’s just so saavy and pesky on both ends of the court.
Like the addition of Marvin Williams. His length and athleticism is really good defending the perimeter.
Al Horford had the Malcolm Brogdon syndrome. He chased the cash instead of staying put and so far it looks like a worse move for both guys

Brogdon was fine and loving it in Indy when he could be "the man" even though his shooting percentages were down. He's not as good off the ball when Oladipo came back it's Oladipo driving and kicking instead of Giannis. There's not quite as much room.

It’s pretty interesting the Bucks have turned it over 14 to 10 so far and have less FT attempts yet are up 25. They are killing the Sixers on the glass and only have 34 points in the paint with this so called big lineup.
Philly actually played better when they went smaller.

Count me as one coming around with Middleton. Now I want to see more against the top defenders, or at least the top team, before I’m ready to say “yes he’s arrived” but his play over the last 2-3 months has been stellar. I think somewhere along the way he realized that if he stops trying and let’s the game flow to him, his skills are an advantage. The part that I have been struggling with all this time is his need to Jack up the first look he sees. I feel like he’s far more patient now, and I think the time sitting in November really opened his eyes. Plus Budenholzer giving him more room to operate his preferred way in midrange also has helped.
I want to be a believer. I’m getting closer every game.

And this my friend is what makes me nervous about winning a championship. It’s not a question of talent. It’s what agenda does the NBA have. Ray Allen was chastised after making comments about the refs back in 2000. And every player since has been thrown under the bus if they speak out. What does the league have to hide? Why are the officials above criticism? And we know the league wants Giannis out of Milwaukee. I’ll gladly eat crow in June.
Of what I have seen, he is playing by far the best basketball he has ever played. I think he is almost at the status of being the second fiddle of a legitimate "Big 2." When he is at his worst, it seems the issue is mental like he is not even really mentally in the game.

I will never forget an eastern conference final Game 7 against Boston. I think Paul Pressey may have been the defensive player of the year that year (something like 1986). The bucks had something like an 8 point lead in the fourth and time was starting to look like a factor.
I actually had a tense feeling the zebras were going to shaft the Bucks. Pressey had 4 fouls. Sure enough, he picked up fouls 5 and 6 within less than a minute and I turned to my brother and said, "It's over." Which of course it was.

May 1987. I remember that the same way you do. We were watching the game and my Dad goes - "watch Pressey pick up two cheap ones. The league wants Bird to win this"
