Well, when the Lakers are up 26 to 10 in free throw shots, kind of hard to stay in the game. Middleton and Bledsoe, especially, are not big game players. They did this last year.

Middleton has been playing well before the neck issue, but he’s been awful since coming back.

Middleton probably needs to sit for a few more games.

Bledsoe just gets out of control. DDV has been great, but you need George Hill to steady the team at times like this.

The whole game was that 18-0 run in the 3rd.

Bad time to bring this up, but I think the Bucks need to unload Bledsoe in the off-season. He kills the offense

Yes. He's been virtually unplayable tonight.

But if Middleton even has an average game, they are up by 6-8 points even with playoff Bledsoe showing up

I love Bled... but the last couple weeks he's really been shaky.  It would be tough to win it all if he plays like this.  Let's hope he can get it together before round 2 of the playoffs.

Yeah, he needs to get it together so he’s ready to choke in the playoffs again.

Giving him a big contract was a mistake.

But he didn't....either did Bledsoe.  Even with his injuries I would take Brogdon all day long over Bledsoe.  He's a regular season wonder against mediocre competition but not a true shooter and folds against real competition.

Davis was much, much better than Middleton and Bledsoe. That was the difference.

Yes. Davis is a top ten, maybe a top five player in the NBA. People fear him. Nobody fears Middleton or Bledsoe. You can leave them open in clutch moments. They’ll choke.

Front office needs to open up the pocket book and find a real star to compliment Giannis. Middleton and Bledsoe are chokers. 65-79 wins is nice, but I want a title.

I don't put Middleton in the "choker" category.  Bledsoe... I can't argue that one, here's to hoping he can shed that type of label this playoff season.

Other than LeBron and Davis, the rest of the Lakers were actually awful - almost as bad as Middleton and Bledsoe.

They were 22-45 and the rest of the team was 16 for 46.

Although Middleton, Matthews, and Bledsoe going 3 for 19 from 3 is about as awful as you can get.

You usually can't leave Middleton open.

Brogdon was not, and will never be the answer. He's an injury prone, stiff limbed guy. Yes, Bledsoe wilts under pressure, but a 22 million Brogdon is not the answer. You could have argued they needed to move on from both of them. But who'd you get instead?

The reality is that tonight, on their home floor, the Lakers reminded the Bucks of what it’s going to take to win it all. The Bucks were intimidated by Staples, the environment, and when the peed down their leg allowing an 18-0 run, they gave the Lakers all that they needed.

James has been here before. He’s been to the Finals 9 times. And before his second year in Miami, he too was not ready. He played poorly, didn’t get enough help, and then the rest you know. Giannis, and all the other key players, have not been there. No one that played tonight  has ever played in a game of this intensity- except one. Donte Divincenzo (Hill didn’t play, but he too has played in this kind of intensity). Giannis is new to winning. Lopez, Matthews, Middleton, Bledsoe... they all are new to winning. When Lebron was 25, he was too. Davis is new to it now.

So tonight was the heat check. The Lakers won in their building. Lebron got his share of calls. Giannis walked away with a limp (hoping that a little tweak was all it was). The team had their share of open looks, but didn’t make them. They got stops, but not enough. They let Lebron flex, and they put up barely a real fight.

The Lakers have holes- but the Bucks lost their edge tonight and allowed an inferior team to have their way psychologically. I hope they learned this. I hope they play like they own it- like they usually do- from now on.

I’m just going to ignore ESPN. Stephen A Smith is finishing off punching his clown to sing the praises of LeBron.

Quite frankly, I try to ignore Stephen A 24x7 365 days a year, but once in awhile I do catch his act and immediately regret it. 😀

I wasn’t surprised by the outcome.  You knew the Lakers would come out and want to make a statement but other than LeBron it’s not like they played that well.  Had Middleton played even a normal game for him they probably steal that game.

The problem is in a big game under the lights once again they have issues handling the pressure.  Bledsoe is fucking useless in these type of games.  Unless it’s Boston Middleton has been useless in these type of games.

Yes the officiating stunk and I’m so sick and tired of seeing Giannis get hammered with no calls but that’s nothing new and they need to fight through it because this is what they will encounter if they make it to the finals.

Of greater importance is I can’t see them sticking with Bledsoe if he has another postseason like he’s accustomed to but nothing we can do about that now.  They missed George Hill big time last night and it’s good to see DDV improve but Bledsoe just kills them in situations like this.

Some of you really need to chill out.

It's one REGULAR SEASON game in LA with most of the team not playing well.

After the Bucks hammered LA in December, I was fairly certain LA would win this one.

The Bucks didn't play well. They were right in it near the end.

The Bucks are a very good basketball team  & it's tough to keep playoff intensity for 82 regular season games.

This game means little in the grand scheme.

Get #1 seed & get into the playoffs healthy. The rest will take care of itself.
