Some Bucks are really shooting poorly, of late, especially Middleton. He's 2 for 12 tonight, and is 12 for his last 42 (28.6%). Lopez 3 for 10.

36% from the floor ain't gonna get it done tonight, Bucks. Giannis is going to have to take charge in this one.

The Pacers have done a good job clogging the paint. Officials really struggling to know what’s a foul and what isn’t tonight, both ways.

Need somone to make some shots. Here’s where Brogdon and Bledsoe need to step up. Hill did a great job with the energy getting them out of their funk.

Get some energy on the floor... Brogdon and Ilyasova are not good matchups here... slow and not able to match athleticism. Get some energy... Connaughton? DJW? The Bucks are getting owned in the paint and they’re not moving on offense.

Giannis and George Hill are the only players that are playing well. Middleton looked awful. Brogdon's been OK.

Bucks back within 3. Not coincidentally they get back in it when Middleton wins his matchups on offense.

Music has said this all along - but Middleton makes me nervous. Playoff series are probably going to come down to him. Giannis is not the guy who is going to hit 15 footers in tough half court playoff defense. That has to be Middleton.

This one may be over. Down 10 now with no offensive flow.

They are going to struggle against this team if they get them in the playoffs.

Bud got them back into this going with a jumbo lineup. Great adjustment.

What does D.J. Wilson bring to this team? Team is -13 with him on the floor tonight. He's shooting .217% from the floor the last five games, is 1 for 13 from 3-pt range, and is a 39% free throw shooter on the year.

His shot is way too flat to be consistent. He's on the floor for defense because he is big enough to handle the big guys underneath but quick enough to recover and guard the 3 point line. The latter is Lopez' achilles heel.

30-11 run in the 4th & a triple double by the MVP.

Fantastic win vs. a team that is playing excellent ball minus their superstar. (V.O.)

Impressive win right before the AS break

Wow... that was a Royce Gracie fight... they land some haymakers, get you wobbling, but slowly down the stretch, locked them up, pressure... pressure... pressure... tap.

The move to go with the Lopez-Gianni-Ilya-Middleton-Brogdon lineup did it. It takes a lot of guts to sit Bledsoe in that situation. 6-5, 6-8, 6-10, 6-11, 7-0 defense.

You’re must only be asking this because you haven’t been watching the whole season. For a long stretch of games, DJW has been their best reserve. His improvements have been one of the biggest stories of the season.

His activity has suffered of late- I think now that he’s getting regular minutes he’s hit a bit of a wall. Something to watch after the break...

Lopez locked up Collison 2 different times off a switch, when he thought he’d blow by and get to the rim. Forced a turnover one time, knocked the ball out of bounds  the other. That sequence was really what put them over the top last night.

Agreed. If he can do that on a regular basis, the Bucks wouldn't have to worry about replacing him at the end of games. This Ringer.com article I linked to previously really goes into nice detail on what the issues Lopez has in potential playoff matches - which is really that the NBA scout types think he is going to get forced off the floor against the Celtics and Raptors because he'll have trouble recovering to guard Al Horford or Ibaka after helping. Maybe it's actually easier for him to close out on a short guard because he can threaten the shot from a lot farther away compared to contesting guys more his own size?

Just wait until Mirotic starts contributing

He’s another Brook Lopez but even better

That’s going to be a very interesting part of the Chess game. But the acquisition of Mirotic certainly gives them options.

Perhaps you look at Mirotic at the 4, Giannis at the 5, and Bled/Brog/Midd. Lopez still gets lots of time though... he protects the rim.
