So, has Thanasis' game improved that much that he's one of the first guys off the bench? Or, was his PT one of the conditions for Giannis to sign the Super Max?

He's a guy you can trust to play defense. He's not a complete stiff.  Why you aren't playing Craig instead is the question. Maybe Craig gets Thanasis' minutes when he is completely heathy?

Thanasis always looks out of control on offense for the same reason he's a good defender. He only has one speed which is all out all the time. There isn't a lot of finesse there.

Shot selection is friggin atrocious.

Giannis was getting whatever he wanted, then the foul trouble happened. If he can't penetrate because afraid of flop to pick up his 4th, the wide open shots dry up.

Holiday actually played great defense a Porzingis giving up 12 inches in the paint and then blocked a 3 pointer from his as well. That's besides hitting a 3 and assisting Middleton on a 3 in the last 45 seconds.

He's no Bledsoe.

Giannis with just some idiotic play. Two terrible FT attempts. Jacks up a 3 early in the shot clock and then a horrible foul reaching in on Doncic. I think it all started with the FT problems. He follows those misses by trying to make up for it and overdoes it.

An 8 point lead with 2 FTs to push it to 10 becomes a 1 point game just like that and Giannis has to sit.

He has to get the FTs on track. He's approaching Chamberlain/Shaq territory at this point.

He's 22 for his last 43.

Stupid offensive basketball....

They haven't shown they can guard any Buck on isos or post-ups and then they start the half with no isos or post-ups.

Now they have to play most of the third quarter without Giannis.
