For the amount of talent on the Bucks, having two of the top 75 players in NBA history, this is just not a good team. Now, that may change in the future, but the head coach needs to hold the players accountable when they half ass it. And it seems like the players know they can get away with not putting in a full effort. This is becoming a reoccurring theme-the Bucks play poorly against a team they should be destroying. Dame is the only one that has shown up tonight.

This team seems mentally soft and undisciplined. They can’t continue slacking off for three quarters, only to turn it on in a furious comeback in the 4th.

It’s frightening how much this team has regressed since Bud was fired.

We’re up 2, 55-53, against a 5-14 team.

Without their 3 best players: DeRozan, LaVine, and Ball

Bucks come back to lead by 3, but Caruso hits a 3 at the buzzer to tie it.

Why do you leave Lopez in during that situation? Up 3 with 5 seconds left. If he's in, why is he not on the inboudnder instead of Giannis.

Idiotic,

I hated the Griffin hire when they made it and the Bucks are too talented to finish much below a 3 seed no matter who the coach is. But the guy is in way over his head.

The defensive set with 5 seconds left is the type of thing they fired Bud for (poor decisions in crunch time).

The Bucks get every teams best shot.....get used to it....I have. No DeRosen...no Levine. They play outta their minds. 🤷‍♂️

If they would have hired an actual coach things would be different.

The guy is an idiot. There is a reason he was passed over in his first 13 interviews for head jobs.

Idiotic,

Why didn't the Bucks foul before the shot with the Bulls being out of timeouts?

Especially with Vucevic dribbling with his back to the basket 30 feet away from the basketball with less than 3 seconds left.

I think Griffin lost track of his timeouts in the overtime too.

The Bucks have been getting every team’s best shot since we won a title. In the past, bad teams could play their best, and we could handle them without a problem. We would often blow those teams out.

We just lost to a 5-14 team missing their best two (or was it three?) players. A few days ago, we had to go to the very end of the game to beat a 2-12 Wizards team. We gave up 68 points in the first half to a 4-12 Portland team, and were losing 88-73 headed into the fourth before a furious comeback secured the win. We played Detroit, who is currently the worst team in the NBA at 2-17; early in the season when they were 2-6, and were down 95-90 after three. Detroit scored 43 freaking points on us in the 3rd. Again, we had to fight tooth and nail to come back and beat a dog shit team.

Respectfully, this isn’t just “getting every team’s best shot”, Boris. I wish that were the explanation for what we’re seeing; it would certainly be more palatable.

We need to face the truth. There is something very wrong with this team. I haven’t seen many of the Bucks games because I’m in Dallas, and don’t get NBA League Pass. But what I have seen, and what the numbers portend in the games I didn’t see, are troublesome.

This team seems to kick it into cruise control. They jumped out 11-2 tonight, then just took their foot off the gas. It’s as if they expect other teams to just cower in fear facing the mighty Bucks. They don’t give a full effort, and that’s on the coach to address.

Bucks players may “like” Adrian Griffin, but it sure seems that they don’t respect him. Their half-ass play speaks volumes. You play hard for a coach you respect, knowing that if you don’t give a full effort, your ass is sitting down.

Many times I have listened to Kareem, or Bill Walton, talking about playing for John Wooden. MJ and the other Bulls greats didn’t always get along. MJ’s ego was massive. Yet Phil Jackson always got their best. Dennis Rodman came in, and he knew how to manage him. He gave the Worm space to be himself, and in turn, Rodman left it on the floor every night.

I don’t see that with this team. Where is their professionalism? Where is their damn pride? I’d be fucking embarrassed to be a member of the Bucks right now. They’re coasting, and other teams know that they can score at will against them.

It was a bad loss, no question about it.

I do wonder about Griffin’s coaching abilities but to me the bigger issue is they have to upgrade our backcourt defense.  Ironically, the guy that comes to mind is the guy that killed them last night (Caruso).

I love Bobby and Pat C but I’m not sure either guy helps them when it really matters.  Lopez and Beasley have proven they can be good secondary options if they need buckets but we need a guy that can at least slow down the opposing team in crunch time.  Crowder can help, but I still think they need another option.

What frustrates me is Jackson Jr was touted as a defensive guy yet you don’t play him?

Seah Rhyan syndrome. Better player doesn't get to play..... IDK why?!?🤷‍♂️ Every time I see Jackson in he looks like he's playing pretty well

Portis has really been struggling the last 4-5 games. It looks like his confidence is shot. He really does not fit the defensive scheme Griffin wants to run and has been a turnstile on defense because of it. Maybe that's getting to him?

He also responded on social media to some trade proposals his name was linked to. It's possible he knows they are shopping him and its affecting his play on the court.

I know I'd like to rather trade Adrian Griffin for Terry Stotts right now than trade Portis, but Giannis wanted Adrian Griffin so they have Adrian Griffin.
