Hoping to see all kinds of Bucks' royalty in the stands for game six! Let those ABC/NBA announcers chew on that.

We need Kareem and Oscar again. Marques, Moncrief, Lanier, Johnny Mac.

Jim Paschke needs to be there too.

Who are the other Milwaukee royalty that need to be there? Bob Uecker.

Thanks Blair

You can go pleasure one of the KKKs or Booker.  Or just play more golf and drink box wine (always underrated)

What the what?

I’m just glad Giannis didn’t end up the goat with the missed FTs.

Holiday might be MVP of this series.  His defense flipped the deficit from 0-2 to 3-2.  And yes I love seeing Chris Paul shit himself once again and Booker tripping over himself in the biggest moment of the game.

turk-scrubs

We had about 12 people sitting around a iPhone at a wedding reception… when Holiday stole that ball from Booker and tossed the alley oop it was pandemonium…

We live in Utah and are driving to Wisconsin to visit family. We decided to skip our planned Door County fish boil and go to the Deer District Tuesday instead. Gonna be nuts, especially if they win.

"I've never liked guys like Booker personally. He's a Harden type. But he is a superstar. Dropped another 40."

In a losing effort! Just like that Trae guy from the Hawks! Booker should have fouled out, last night, just on all the elbows and forearms, to the gut, he threw to get separation from Holiday and Tucker. He is definitely a Harden type, who, by the way, like that Trae guy, is also watching the NBA Finals from home!  BUCKS IN SIX!!!

A few thoughts on the last sequence by Holiday.

An underrated part of this is that PJ Tucker (and Giannis in help defense) stoned him on the drive and forced him to a standstill.

Jrue Holiday threw an alley-oop pass FROM BEHIND THE THREE-POINT LINE up 1 with 15 seconds left in the most important Bucks game in 50 years. A 28-foot pass about 12 feet high to a spot to hit Giannis running full speed. Without knowing the outcome that sounds really stupid in terms of risk/reward.

Giannis had a foot in the restricted area roughly even with every other player on the court and outran everyone else for the finish.

Yeah on  that play Booker was just playing one man basketball, he was gonna take it no matter what, and just before the steal he slightly turned to look back and, surprise, there's Holliday. Great trap.

Obviously, Middleton was throw-in as part of the Jennings trade, but check out these high school recruiting rankings from 2008.

If the Bucks close this out, the last two games have provided two of the most iconic plays in Finals history. I don't know where the block and the alley-oop rank, but no question they are in the top 50 all-time.

The alley-oop is probably the most impactful alley-oop dunk in NBA history (IF they close this out in 6).

What's better? Jordan drilling the jumper after shedding Byron Russell. Magic Johnson's skyhook to win a game in Boston? Kyrie Irving's 3 in Game 7? LeBron's block? Where would these 2021 Bucks plays rank on this list?

To me, the Ray Allen corner 3 v the Spurs stands out.  The Spurs were seconds from winning that series (and another title) and Allen saved LeBron’s bacon.  Down 3-2 the Heat won that game along with game 7.

If Shaq’s alley oop v the Blazers in the WCF can be immortalized then this one deserves honorable mention at the very least.

In terms of improbability and execution I think the alley oop ranks ahead of the block IMO.  At that moment and time of the game up 1 point Holiday makes a pass that looked impossible yet Giannis gathered it and slammed it down.   Simply amazing.

The block has to be waaay up there. In a game the Bucks had to have, in the Finals, for Giannis to be that far away, committed to stopping the guy in front of him, then recognize the pass, do a 180, step, rise, and make a clean block on a two-handed dunk on a guy with all the momentum? That's a one-in-a-million play, a Greek Freak moment. Outrageous. Classic.

Giannis' dunk is awesome and his hustle is second-to-none. Did you see in the picture who is trying to push Giannis off-balance? Chris Paul, looking small, reduced to fouling Giannis on the dunk...

Connaughton is 19 for 36 from the floor, 15 for 30 from three, and 2 for 2 from the line in the series.

In the last two wins (one-possession games under a minute left), he has put up 11 points and 9 rebounds followed by 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Not bad for a guy the Bucks were ridiculed for signing to a 3 year, 15 million dollar deal less than 8 months ago.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Rodgers was there?

Both are in the conversation for top moments in playoff history, but neither were in the Finals. I think they were both in the conference finals.
