The Bucks don't have to win tonight to win the series, but they will.
I totally agree…

I bet Boris feels EXACTLY the same.

As long as they are at 2-2 after 4 games, I think they win the series.
As good as Chris Paul is, I don't think he's going to shoot like he did last night in every game of this series. That's the reason the Suns won. For all the criticism Bud is taking, it's not like Lopez and Portis were getting completely fooled on defense. Most of Paul's shots were contested.
The turning point of the game was when the Bucks cut it to 59-52 in the third. They got a stop and then Tucker had an open 3 that would have cut it to 4. Instead, he missed and on the ensuing possession Paul hit a contested 30 footer with 1 second on the shot clock and got the flagrant foul on Lopez. The game went from potentially a 4 point game to 11 in 24 seconds and the Bucks never got any closer in that quarter. I think the contested 30 footers will even out. Paul is great, but he's not Durant.
Chris Paul is a Middleton-type shooter. He's very streaky.
In the last two games (the closeout in Game 6 and then Game 1), he's gone 11 for 15 from three.
In the three games before that (2 Suns losses and an 84-80 win), he went 2 for 16 from 3.
The four games before that, he was 6 for 8 from 3 (the sweep over the Nuggets).
If he goes 11 for 15 from three over a two-game span, they are going to win. I don't think he's doing that over 7 games though. He's a career 37% 3-point shooter.
I usually don't watch the pregames, but too many mosquitos to walk around tonight so I just watched the Booker segment. Is any feature ESPN does required to refer to either LeBron or Kobe Bryant?
I’m more focused on the commercials. Are all the white middle aged male actors retired? 😀
It was a good run for us for 70 years, but now we need some representation!
I just saw a pic of George Mikan on the ABC lead in.
Travel?
Frank Caliendo has a home in Tempe. Local ABC had him on for an interview.
Did some Barkley and Shaq.
Did the NBA decree that no matter what happens on a Middleton shot there will not be a foul called?

It was even worse on the replay. The dunk-follow that Giannis just got was on a Middleton missed shot where Crowder whacked him on the elbow and he was fouled underneath by the second defender.
As long as they call Booker and Paul the same way on their shots, I'm fine with it. We'll see if they do.

Of course they did
Playing ball screen defense much better tonight
Part of Budenholzer’s job is to advocate for his fucking players. He needs to do that.
Great start, stay aggressive. Little worried that Giannis is already gassed… but let the offense flow through Holiday and Middleton and Giannis can pick and choose. Tighten up the D on the secondary players shooting 3s…
5/9 from 3 already…
6/11 threes… good fucking grief.
I like the fact they've forced the other Suns guys to hit shots. Right now, the non-Booker/Paul guys are 5 for 8 from 3, but the Bucks lead by 3.
Pushing the ball left from the top but giving too much help off corner shooters
Holiday has already taken 9 shots. The problem is that he's only hit 3.
First Giannis airball FT, but he did hit 1 for 2.
Nothing but net
Why is Teague in? And why can't Middleton get a call?
8 fucking 3s…
The Bucks have dominated, but are behind because the Suns are 8 for 13 from 3.

But up 3 points. Keep attacking and making guys other than Booker and Paul beat you.
The law of averages has to come into play at some point… right?
Bryn Forbes might as well be a freeway on defense.

Bud hopes they miss some….geeenious
So you can physically prevent a guy from going after a ball going out of bounds???
Not calling the flops this game…

Actually, I like the adjustments Bud has made. Make the other guys beat you.
If Holiday could hit anything, they'd be way ahead. He's continued to be terrible on offense. He's 7 for 25 from the floor in the series.
Good fucking grief Holiday… get your shot together man…
Holiday is now 3 for 12 and he's missed about 3-4 shots inside of 6 feet.
Grab a fucking rebound. That was pathetic.
That’s some bullshit… what the FUCK!!! Play harder! Hustle down the floor! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Down 4 after 3 Bucks watch a rebound bounce on the floor to give up a 3. Then Holiday blocks a shot and a bunch of Bucks sit on their asses on the other end and give up a dunk. 5 points given away to guys half-assing it.
Anyone who didn’t hustle down the floor sits… and Holiday should be spitting mad on the sideline.
Giannis showing the leadership… you want to win??? PLAY!!!!
Second foul on Holiday. That's big defensively.
Starting to get away from the Bucks. Middleton and Holiday are 5 for 20 and the Bucks are down 8. Not coincidentally, the Suns go off on offense when Holiday sits down.
