Game announcers are definitely pulling for Purdue, IMO.
Wahl is 0-16 from 3 point range, this season. But is shooting 62% in the post.
and thinking gotta new boyfriend prospect, love me some Brad Davidsonβ¦..and how many now?? I think itβs 4β¦β¦
Vogt and Crowl with 2 fouls each with about 4 minutes left in the half.
Nice steal and pass by Hepburn to Davis for 2! 29-24 at the half! Totally blew Matt Painter's planned play out of the water!
Vogt with 3 fouls, Crowl with 2 and Wahl with 2. Davis with 10 points at the half. Badger defense is very good tonight. Wisconsin with 18 paint points while Purdue has 4 paint points.
Purdue's Mason Gillis with 9 points-- all 3 pointers.
No wonder the color guy is pro Purdue. It's Robbie Hummel, former Boilermaker.
Purdue star Jaden Ivey with 3 fouls.
Vogt, Crowl and Wahl all with 3 fouls. Gonna be interesting when it comes time to substitute..
1 for 2 from the line for Davis.
2 offensive fouls on Purdue big man, Zach Edy!
Badgers leaving Purdue open for 3 pointers. Bucky down 42-38 with 14:11 to go.
Both Wahl and Crowl with 4 fouls for the Badgers. Add Vogt to the 4 foul club.
Zach Edy gets his 3rd foul.
Vogt playing tough on offense and draws the foul.
Hepburn drives to the hoop! 49 -50. Davis for 3, 52-50 Badgers! 8:52 left.
Vogt fouls out with 8:17 left. Badgers up 54-52
We need someone other than Davis to score some points. Davis and Davison seem to be the only guys making 3's for Wisconsin.
Davis with career high 33 points tonight.
Davis with another 2 points- 70- 63 under a minute to go.
A pair of daggers from Davis⦠big⦠time⦠plays

Monster doesn't even come close to capturing it.
37 points, 14 rebounds.
Music - you might be right about him being a legit NBA player.
Oh yeah.. heβs a lottery pick right nowβ¦

Maybe Gard can coach

Maybe Alando Tucker was a bigger problem than everyone realized.

I donβt think so. I think the state this program has been the last 3 years indicates how far he has been over his head.
So if thereβs something now that he is doing that he wasnβt before, what is it? What is the hallmark of this programβs success in 2021-22? What is the foundation now that they can build on to repeat that success?
But this is the short-sightedness with which everyone wants to judge the Badgers. You put a great player on the team, win some games, and now Gard can coach? This is the same thing weβre seeing on the football program- and itβs bullshit. Gardβs predecessor built a program. Thatβs how he won. Gard is winning now because he has a lottery pick- and if he can string a handful of those kinds of guys together, theyβll be the new Kentucky. But that shit ainβt happening.
And they only move up one spot in the polls????? Come onβ¦..
βThe AP Poll will never make sense to me. Somehow an ugly home win versus Illinois State was enough to convince voters that Wisconsin (10-2 overall, 1-1 Big Ten) should move up in the rankings. UW has won their last two games, both at home versus non-conference opponents (Nicholls State, Illinois State) by a combined seven points. Regardless, the Badgers moved up one spot to No. 23 in this weekβs AP Poll.
Following Wisconsinβs massive upset over No. 3 Purdue in Mackey Arena on Monday night, where Wisconsin entered the game a staggering 5-40 all time, the Badgers are almost certainly going to jump into the top-15 in next weekβs rankings if they can take care of Iowa as well. For this week, hereβs how things stand:
Thatβs what happens when you lose by 20 to Ohio State, I guess.
But as heβs is well known- donβt give this team any kind of ranking and theyβll win. The minute they βget their dueβ they step on their own dicksβ¦
