Not a great win. Nebraska is a sorry team, the Badgers should have put them away by halftime. The only reason they won is because Mike Reilly is a dumber coach than Chryst.

Lotta bad, unlucky losses the last few years---I'll take this one with no shame.

I think it will take another 2 years for the stink of Pelini to get out of Nebraska.

 

We should totally fire Chryst thought, that is a boat we should all be on 6 games into his tenure.  Sucks balls as a coach right?  Can't recruit worth a damn.  He's fat, but not Bielema fat.  He wears that hat like a dumbass.  Barry should kick him to the curb and finish out the season on the sideline.  

I ripped on the WR's (not named Erickson) earlier, but to be fair, Peavy had had a good game.

 

So did Olivia Harlan.  She is already better than many of the college and NFL sideline reporters.

Nebraska has a bad D and UW made some plays at the end but they dropped a lot of passes

I thought Stave had a good second half, hopefully it's a sign of things to come and several receivers made some nice catches. If the O-line can come together (there's a lot of youth there) and open some holes to get the running game untracked, we might se a strong finish. Only real obstacles are Northwestern, Minnesota, and maybe Illinois.

So, you guys are Chryst (dumbass hat and all) and you think to yourself, "Self, I can burn clock and let my fatass kicker boot one with the wind behind him.  Huskers won't have much time at all and I have a kickass defense.  But wait, maybe, just maybe, this is the time to throw caution to the wind and put the ball into my QB's hands.  Stave has been nails all game, no all season, and there is nothing bad that could occur with him tempting fate with a few more crossing routes.  Self, we need Stave to toss this one just a few more times, I got a good feeling about this."

Won this game even though they didn't go for the TD and got conservative. If you are going conservative, why not center the kick? Run the ball up the middle. At least the stout Brazilian snuck it in on the one that counted.

Wondered the same thing. With a strong wind, no matter it was supposed to be at his back, kick from the middle of the field.  

We should be glad they didn't get a couple of yards closer in, or he may have hooked it around the post.

I really wondered why Chryst didn't do more to set up for Gags to kick the last second FG from the left hash mark.  Maybe, since he is Brazilian, Gags likes his FG's more from the right hash than the left hash

I think the reason he hit the post on that first field goal attempt in the fourth quarter is because he forgot to account for the reversed coriolis effect.
