You get what you deserve. Bucky can't complain after going 2 for 8 from the line

No way Trice makes all 3, but there are still 7 seconds left.
You have to question Gard's decision to take out Happ there. For what reason would you leave your best shot blocker on the bench for that possession? Just really questionable.

Hit pressure FTs. Didn't win, but you have to like the ability to pressure.
The Badgers backcourt sucked tonight. They couldnβt handle ball pressure, missed every open look but the one Trice three.
Missed FTs and some dumb coaching in that second OT. Not only leaving Happ on the bench, but letting Indiana letting their best player drive for a layup in his favorite spot after calling a timeout. Why even call the timeout - to take out Happ? Unbelievable decision making by Gard.
Happ fouled out on the layup before Trice made his 3 FTs

That's right. He fouled out on the play where Reuvers didn't foul the guy when he could have.

Yeah. I remember that now. I remember yelling at the TV for Reuvers to foul their worst FT shooter at half court.
Reuvers and Davison looked really out of it all night. Trice was huge in the last 15 seconds of the 2nd half and the two OTs, but otherwise was off as well.
Badgers did well in getting to OT but if they had taken care of business earlier it wouldn't have had to come to that. I thought they started out looking good and then went into a shell. Aside from Iverson, team looked very tentative most of the night with no one wanting the ball. At one point missed 10 shots in a row. Ouch. By the time they got to a 2nd OT they were all pretty much out of gas. Agree regarding Trice, kudos for the late effort and cool head.
I have a hard time blaming Gardo on this one, considering I don't believe the majority of looks were that bad that clanked iron and I think he last second play was genius.
Literally everything had to go wrong for Bucky to lose in double overtime. Indiana is horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrribly coached.

I agree. After I remembered that Happ had followed out, I don't know what more Gard could have done differently. The players just didn't execute at the FT line or on open looks. Trice made clutch shots, but even with those shots the three starters that actually take shots outside the paint (Davison, Trice, and Reuvers) were 6-31 and 3-17 from 3. Many of those were wide open looks.
You're right - Indiana might be the most poorly coached team in the Big 10. Romeo Langford may be the only guy on the floor last night who ever plays in the NBA, and he spent a lot of time going through the motions until he turned it on late.
The one thing you could criticize Gard for was calling the timeout at the end of the second OT to set up his defense only to allow Langford to make one move at the 3 point line and go hard right for a layup. Dakich was saying the entire night you make him go left and Iverson pretty easily gave up the right side to him. Defending Gard, you have to imagine that was in the scouting report and that was a major emphasis of the timeout was to tell them not to let Langford go to his right. Indiana had guys on the court that had barely played all year. You have to make someone other than Langford beat you on his best move.
Fran McCaffery won't be on the bench when the Badgers play Iowa. He is suspended 2 games for his after game outburst at the officials. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. McCaffery is an idot.
He called referee, Steve Mcjunkins a "cheating m-------f------"
and "a f-------- disgrace" sounds like he let his frustrations get the best of him.
