Tim Welke behind the plate.
Well, I can hear the FBombs at the trump household already ... god I dislike that SOB behind the plate. Arrogant deliberate arbitraitor of the strike zone.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Yo gets in trouble early in the game and throws a LOT of pitches early. Now, for Yo that is always possible but Welke damn near guarantees it.
How good can this team's line-up be when Ramirez and Hart return? WOW! Who needs pitching...lol. The biggest stat of the night--we are now +1 in runs scored for the year--versus runs allowed.

If we can get the closer thing worked out...playoffs are possible.

Maybe in July a good one will become available and Axford and Henderson will be great guys for the 8th inning.

6 years of player control.. I think you wait at least 2 seasons before you look into buying some of his free agency years.. He wasn't expected to hit like this so let's see him do it for an extended time before we give him the Braun treatment.

I'm loving the kid, but trying to stay realistic.

Sorry, I was thinking of Tim McClellan(spelling ?) ... but Yo was true to form anyway. Smiler
I am cautiously optomistic about the return off Rami since he is annually a bad hitter the first two months of the season....yes, I know he was doing well when he was injured. It could very well be that he is starting his season over; we will see.

With Corey, it will be nice to have our 6th first sacker this season and he is the best one we have defensively. Offensively, it is anybody's guessl

What gives you that impression? In terms of defense only, I will take a ****ty SS over a RF at 1rst base 99 times out of 100. The only thing Hart has going for him over Yuni is his length.

Are you serious?
Corey Hart was a god-send last year at 1st, he is a natural 1st baseman ... and a damn good one.
