Because he is a top 10 guard and we can move Lang to tackle.

LoL, he's no "top-10 guard", Miami's line sucked in no small part because he sucks and hey, why not move a very good guard who doesn't have tackle feet to tackle and make two spots weak. Yeah, makes perfect sense. MM has admitted that all-out line shuffling was a mistake in the past,

If they're going dumpster diving, scrounge up an actual tackle like Winston and make he and Sherrod fight it out.

Disagree on both.  Icongnito is a mental midget, but he can play guard  at a high level.  Lang has played tackle for us and has played better than Sherrod.

Hopefully Bulaga is back and it doesn't matter.

Incognito is a pro bowl guard.  Bulaga has played what, 10 games in 3 seasons?  I hope Bulaga is back too but I think there are worse contingencies than having the ability to move a pro bowl guard in and kicking Lang out (Sherrod)...although maybe a guy like Winston provides more upside if they're only looking for a body for a couple weeks.

That knee is so unstable that a slight jolt from his teammate tears the MCL??????

Gotta use a high draft choice on a T next draft.

And if I don't want to squander AR's time in GB, I'd try out every OL out there that could conceivably help plug a very very thin line. (Like sherrod thin.)

Bulaga had set his feet to block and push when he got hit from behind.  On the second replay I could see that his left knee got twisted pretty good.  I'm just surprised it wasn't season ending... yet....

Didn't Marco Rivera tear his MCL in like 2002 and 2003 and never miss a game while wearing a big brace? Albeit at Guard where less lateral movement is needed. So Bulaga with a sprain and not a full tear of the MCL could very well suit up and play vs the Jets next week with a similiar type brace.

Also, thought I read Bulaga was already wearing some type of knee brace on his left leg which likely prevented his injury from being worse, per what I read on the innerweb this morning.

What the hell do I know, but it "seems" when a player has these short term back to back soft tissue or ligament injuries (knee or ankles) it means he's "one of those guys" that for whatever reason doesn't have the right kind of internal parts to play in today's NFL.

Bradford is the other most recent example of course.

Whether he comes back or not this week...might as well shoot him or take him to the glue factory. I just don't think he's going to cut it,  with another major blow out coming right around the corner.

Poor b'stard. I'll be glad to be wrong.

There is zero chance they resign him in the offseason now
Injury prone an unreliable
Add that to the list along with dt(again) and ilb
Speaking of, Desmond bishop just got cut today
He ha to be better than jones

Bulaga ahead of schedule, could start practicing as soon as today.

Doesn't sound like this Sunday is an option, but I wonder if San Diego is realistic. I would think you'd just wait until after the bye the following week, but I say lace 'em up as soon as he feels close to 100% and isn't at any higher risk of re-injury.

Scouting Report: Henry is super stout vs a bullrush, but he struggles a bit with speed around the edges. Occasionally, he'll over-set and allow a dumdum to slip by on the inside. But his punch is EPIC and few can recover in time to make the play
