Why do we need a left fielder?
TT, again, picks another "who's that guy", a head scratcher that most have not heard of: OLB Tyus Bowser, Houston.
Chidobe Awuzie, just to make Goodell pronounce it in front of an audience.
TJ Watt
ok, dig this. ready? packers trade a 3rd and 5th for dick sherman, draft tj watt and draft joe mixon in the 2nd
ESPN just called and told me I'm fired effective immediately. I don't work there but I'm still a little rattled.
You're all dumb. Obviously, he will be called "Bust" by the X4 GMs 2 games into the upcoming season.
Running list of ESPN layoffs. Dilfer, Werdel gone.

While there are some names on here that didn't add a lot of value to watching or interpreting sports, there are a lot of good, solid broadcasters and columnists being let go (who can't be that expensive). Jayson Stark, Len Elmore, Eamonn Brennan, Ed Werder, Karl Ravech.
And yet it looks like they'll keep Stephen A. Smith.
Sticking with LSU CB Tre'Davious White. Won't be surprised if it's Colorado CB Chidobe Awuzie. Darkhorse is Kansas St. OLB Jordan Willis.
I'm good with Chipotle. But if Dallas Watt blocks us I'm gonna' be all manner of pissed off at them. And I already hate Dallas.
Sanjay Beach
Kevin King
Watt
Defense.
Demarcus Walker, DE, Florida St
I'm torn between CB and edge rusher, but since Ted loves big men and because I'm a bit of a homer, I'm going with TJ Watt.
One caveat: Often when running the fanspeak mock draft I've found a run of CB's just before the Packers pick in the second round.
Assuming the Packers' meeting with him went satisfactorily, I think Joe Mixon will be the pick. Better pure talent than Fournette, McCaffrey, or Cook, and such an effortless pass receiver. He will absolutely not last until pick 61, and if not for his obvious issue, would go to Jax at 4, IMO.
I plan on taking the day off in Green Bay by trading out of rd 1.

With all the coal mining jobs on the horizon it's a great time to be job hunting.

I think this thread means that after the Packers make their pick the player's phone number will be posted here so we can all call to congratulate him.
BPA at pass rusher. I think it will be TJ Watt.
If we draft in the 1st round, I'll guess Watt too. By position in the draft, I guess CB/S(2), LB(2), RB, WR, DL & OL. Get it right TT!
Thompson has talked about looking at BPA, while considering a position of need.
Forrest Lamp, falls into Thompson's lap.
Here's what Bob thinks of Randall and Rollins:
"There are no alternatives or excuses. For the Packers to win the Super Bowl, they need a massive upgrade at cornerback.
General manager Ted Thompson missed badly on two players, Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins, with his opening choices two years ago. They should be top-notch starters now. The Packers have little choice but to make confidence-enhancing statements regarding the two players, but with Randallβs lack of competitiveness and Rollinsβ lack of speed their careers could be over in a year or two"
Bob McGinn is just a pissed off **** who is completely falling apart. Two guys he had rated as top 50 talent in 2015.

Britt McHenry????
Bob right or Bob wrong....those 2 need to be better this year.

I thought that list was for on-air TALLANT. Why did you list two guys with no talent?

Unless Randall was playing through an injury situation like Davante Adams the year before, Bob is right. Both guys were awful. Randall had the one play at the end of the half against Seattle where he made a great play in a zone defense to come up with a big interception, but other than that looked lost/disinterested. Randall should have the athletic ability to play CB (4.46 40), Rollins ran a 4.57.
All you needed to know about the Packers secondary last year was that they they thought they were better off to match up Julio Jones with a second year UDFA who ran a 4.7 40 out of college (Gunther) than either of their top draft picks from the previous year.
I agree with YA.
It's going to be Mixon.
I'd be very happy with TJ Watt.. but I think he'll go to the Lions or even higher.

what a load that is. I'm still of the belief R&R were too injured most of the season to be effective. anyway, there is an alternative, BBB, and it can start up front. if the GBP is able to upgrade pressure on the QB lots of DBs start looking a lot better.
I agree with McGinn on the first rounder. Kevin King. Big and fast, just the way Thompson likes 'em. Sam Seale territory. Only question is if he makes it to #29.
Seems like the Pack likes those Pac-12 guys. Count me in on the Kevin King prediction with Adoree Jackson 2nd most likely. Would love to see TJ Watt for a number of reasons, but I don't expect it.
Interesting thing about Watt from what I've been reading is that some teams slot him as a low second round pick....
I like local kid Watt but would love hometown kid Vince Biegel even more on day 3.
