I know pretty much everyone is pre-cumming 
over DeJean. And i get it, but because there is so much hype over it, that's why GB won't go there.
So I will go with Nate Wiggins, CB.
OL/OT goes in the 2nd round in a very deep draft for this position.
Kingsley Suamatai in the 1st, draft CB Max Melton and Junior Colson in the 2nd. Cole Bishop and Jaylen Wright in the 3rd.
The last time they picked the pre-draft consensus player was HaHa. But I don't think DeJean is as much the consensus pick as HaHa was. I've seen OT and "other DB" mocked to GB a lot more than DeJean the last couple months.
If they do pick DeJean, will he be white chocolate 2.0?
I think they will shock the world by grabbing a QB in every round.

Honestly the only way I see them taking DeJean is if they trade back from 25, perhaps into low 30's or early 2nd round, and he ends up falling and they take him.
He seems like a player they'd love to have, but would be willing to roll the dice to get some more draft capital.
I also think it's highly plausible Gutey trades up if his franchise LT is within striking distance. Still mulling over who that LT might be...
On a serious note, I predict they will pick OL Graham Barton. GB loves versatile linemen.
I'm a big fan of Dejean and think he fits perfectly. He's young, athletic and can play multiple roles. He just makes sense. But something tells me he just won't end up in GB.
Assuming Gute doesn't move around, I'm going with:

I predict trade down to either 28-33. Picking up an extra 3rd - SIX picks in top 100.
Because the player that Gutey "can't live without" will be gone.
I think that 2nd tier is vast - selections 25-45 or 50

Cooper DeJean - Rome Odunze eraser (if Bears get him)
A trade-up for Graham Barton. It won't cost that much.

I’m sticking with my original pick from a couple of months ago:
Kingsley Suamataia.
Multiple year starter.
Started on both sides. Could also swing inside, if needed. (Plus over Guyton and Mims)
Premium position with probably second-longest career length.
Just turned 21 on January 18th, in a class short on underclassmen.
Fits well in height/weight/arm length they prefer. (Second plus over Guyton/Mims)
Has as high of upside as anyone but may need some development, which has been a common Gutekunst theme.
Has some needed nasty in his play.
Punditry has had him sliding a bit in lying season.
If he hits, he would likely be a franchise tackle for the rest of Love’s and Gutekunst’s careers, even if he needs some time to get there. That would be a hell of a get.

I don't know, there was a ton of Van Ness talk last year. I didn't really buy it until the draft was real close. Who would you consider their pre-draft consensus last year?
I like 3 possibilities in the first round:
1. Trade up into the teens for the home run and draft Terrion Arnold.
2. Stay at 25 or trade up 3-5 spots and draft Cooper (COOP!!) DeJean.
3. #25 pick comes up and there's 3 or 4 OT's that are still on their 1st round draft board. Trade down and take someone that fell, Mims or Barton.

Mims...6'7" 340...that is a big fuckin man. Just don't see Packers taking him at any point. He is a mauler vs. traditional 5-tech ends. He will struggle vs NFL speed edge guys.
Someone will draft him high...yooooge risk thinking he can play LT. Might be able to...might not. Not enough bend to be anything but RT. Then add in the injury concerns...not the Packers Huckleberry.

Trade down and select multiple OL in the early rounds.
They'll take a 3rd down type back at some point in the middle rounds.
They'll take some flyers in the mid to late rounds on highly athletic guys that they think they can develop that didn't play to their potential in college due to injuries or being late bloomers.

I am leaning towards Edgerrin Cooper from Texas A&M if not him I think it could be Kool Aid. I think someone nabs DeJean earlier than expected.

Agree. A solid choice if they decide to stay at #25 or maybe even get him with a minor trade down

the jardiance gal looks like the actress who played the wacko stalker on Netflix Baby Reindeer Series. Creeps me out. I don't want to see her tonight or this weekend for that matter.

Especially if Love was supposed to have called in a different player/position.
Don't go to sleep after pick #25, assuming it's the Packers pick. Just a couple of years ago they double-dipped in Round 1 after taking Quay at #22.

A BYU player who's only 21? I thought they were all pushing 30 from having done their mission.
Carolina trades next years first round pick to the Packers to draft Penix, and with the first pick in the second round the Packers select Missouri Edge/DE, Darius (don't call me Chop) Robinson.
