Notice to Twin Cities fans. It appears that Channel 9, the local Fox affiliate, will be showing the Bears - Giants game at noon, NOT the Packers-Cardinals.

Considering what's been going to this year, I'm strangely OK with that. I'll check updates on Red Zone.

Yep, I remember '78. Near highlight was 8-7-1. We didn't whine about it either; we rejoiced.

1968-69 records: 6-7-1; 8-6-1

1970s records: 6-8; 4-8-2; 10-4 (lost in division round); 5-7-2; 6-8; 4-10; 5-9; 4-10; 8-7-1; 5-11. Two winning years in the '70s.

1980s: Two winning years ('82: 5-3-1; '89: 10-6). Four(!) years of 8-8, including three years in a row; two years of 4-12; one year each of 5-10-1, 5-9-1.

Those were the days... when I said, "My heart bleeds green-and-gold, and these days it's bleeding a lot!"

Those years were exciting at least. The only excitement created by the Packers this year were 2 comeback wins and the betting pool on Clay's hammy.

Does not sound like a good day to throw the football. Paging Aaron Jones..

WEATHER AWARE FOR A MESSY WEEKEND STORM...

From StormCenter 2 Meteorologist Steve Beylon:

Untreated roads and sidewalks may be slick this morning thanks to thin freezing fog and melting snow, refreezing overnight. Clouds will give way to patchy sunshine this afternoon. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 30s. Clouds will fill back in across northeast Wisconsin overnight as a messy storm system arrives from the southwest. Look for a wintry mix to develop across the area Saturday afternoon, lasting through Saturday night. As colder air wraps into this weathermaker, the wintry mix will turn to accumulating snow into Sunday. While snowfall totals remain uncertain at this point, there's potential for several inches of snowfall from the Fox Valley and to the NORTHWEST... Stay tuned as we receive more detailed information from this weekend storm!

The Fox Valley, Green Bay, and the lakeshore will be under mix and rain today and tonight before transitioning to all snow early Sunday morning. Estimates are for 3-6" west and north of the Fox Valley and 1-4" for the Fox Valley east toward the lakeshore. Much of the snow for Green Bay and areas south of the will accumulate on Sunday, that means that football fans traveling to Green Bay for the Packers-Cardinals game will want to plan extra time to travel due to slippery roads and congested highways. Keep checking back for more updates on the forecast and travel cautiously today and tomorrow.

Why is Murphy speaking to roster decisions? Doesn’t he have a Brett Favre granite statue he should be chiseling on.

I would have said he was trying and failing to carry Bob Harlan's jock strap.

Looks like Whitewater Jesus may get his shot.

Why is Murphy commenting on player activation?

I dislike this guy more and more.

Seems like a pretty nice day ,  light snow, 33 degrees, wind N 15 mph

Cards will fold like some cheap, 130 thread count,  polyester sheets, when they hit that wall.
