Down 23-16 in the first.
Giannis has been terrible so far. 0 for 5 from the floor, 0 for 2 from the line (with one almost an airball).

In 5 quarters against the Celtics in this back-to-back, Giannis is 4 for 15 from the floor and 4 for 9 from the line. Wonder if the knee is still an issue?
Bryn Forbes is just a terrible defensive player.
Down 32-26 after 1.
Lopez 1 for 7. Giannis 0 for 4.
Portis out tonight.
They are playing 8 person rotation with Thanasis? Like what?
Bucks sleepwalking so far in this one
PJ Tucker is also out tonight.
I said in the other thread that back-to-backs will be a good test of how the Bucks will fare in the playoffs when teams have time to prep for them and get used to their schemes.
Bucks down 8 right now. Not a good sign. Other than Middleton, no one is really playing well.
Bucks look tired.
Middleton now hurt and Giannis continues to look terrible.
How are they only down by 3?
Middleton back. Holiday with several bad turnovers. Very uncharacteristic.
If you want a guy to hit open shots in a blowout, Forbes is your guy. If you want someone to hit a shot when it matters, Forbes is not.
Brook Lopez is being dominated by the Celtics bigs. Can't secure rebounds. Can't hit shots.
Giannis and Lopez are 2 for 15. As Goalline says, how are they only down 3? Middleton.
Middleton gets absolutely maimed on a postup - no call.
Bucks getting abused on defense right now.

Wide-open 3 after wide-open 3.
Robert Williams is outplaying Giannis.
Giannis and Lopez might want to consider actually blocking someone out. That type of thing would get you benched in a middle school game.
Down double digits
Why does every team seem to have their best shooting game against the Bucks?
Absolutely pathetic defense. Bucks down 16 after giving up 20 points in the first 3 and a half minutes of the third. Going back to when they had a 25 point lead with 18 minutes left in the third two nights ago, the Celtics have outscored the Bucks 134-95 in 46 minutes.
Not a good sign for the playoffs when a team gets that much better the more they see you.

Because when you have to play Lopez too much against small-ball lineups teams get comfortable.
Bucks on pace to give up 54 points this quarter.
No Portis, no Tucker, Lopez looks like crap, and Boston just playing harder and wants it more.

Giannis is as bad as Lopez tonight. He's 6 for 19 these last 2 games against a team that really doesn't have anybody to guard him.
Celtics are 16 for 32 from 3 and Walker has gotten fouled taking 3s twice.
Just sit the starters early. This is Miami playoff level Bucks defense. Down 17.
What a sloppy sloppy game by the Bucks.
Has boston missed a 3 yet?
In the last 54 minutes of playing time, the Bucks have given up 157 points to the Celtics. That includes 26 3s.
Of course, when Marcus Smart is 6 for 8 from deep, maybe it's just not your night.
Bud basically gives up to start the 4th going with Connaughton, Thanasis, DDV, Forbes, and Merrill.
It seems like Holiday has made more poor turnovers tonight than the rest of the season combined.
Bud completely gives up with 8 minutes left. Diakite, Nwora, Merrill, Forbes, and for some reason leaves in Holiday.
And now we get to watch Toulane, Thanasis, Merrill, Nwora, and Diakite for 6 minutes.
Lopez got taken out with 8:23 left in the third and didn't return.
He's unplayable against the Celtics in the playoffs.
In 43 minutes tonight, Antetokounmpo went for 28-13-7.
The problem was that was Giannis and Thanasis combined.
Sam Merrill with 15 points. Thanasis looked good too.
Nwora, Diakite, and Toupane should just take a seat the rest of the year.
Thereβs something wrong with Giannis. Thereβs no way that this Boston defensive lineup has him flummoxed like this.

Agreed. He's been very passive and lethargic.
16-8-5 tonight.
13-8-7 Wednesday.
29-16-12 was in play for a single game the last month. Not 60 minutes of total playing time against a team without anyone to really guard him.
You just wonder and hope thereβs not an injury issue going on with Giannis. I agree he hasnβt looked the same recently for some reason.
Overall, the team just seemed to not want to play this one. Maybe because of Knicks tonight who knows. But Boston shot the lights out.
